Brandi, Love your picture! I started about 10 days ago and lost 3.5. I think about weighing in every day, but, for me, that might be discouraging so have tried to keep my mind off it. I've been pretty good about writing everything down. Had a couple of treatment effects, and know exactly why - which is a good thing. My husband and I play poker alot and have been travelling more, so am trying to make better choices when we are out of town. I definitely need to start exercising.
Walking is great! Good for you getting up early and doing it. That is awesome! I love the walking tapes by Leslie Sansone - 1 mile is 18 minutes; 2 is around 30. You can add weights for a harder workout or just do the walking. I am not in a regular routine right now, but am working on it. Will be easier when school starts in a couple of weeks.
I have three children, a college junior, a college freshman, and an 8th grader. Lost the baby weight between number one and two, went to WW after number three and did great -- lost 75 lbs! But then had an auto accident which sidelined me for quite some time with back and neck issues.
I am trying to make little goals because if I think of the whole picture it is too overwhelming. I am started at 248.5 and weighed in today (my first check-in) at 245. I hope to see a steady loss - no matter how small. That should keep me going -- along with the support of my husband and the message boards, think I can do this.
Anyway, look forward to reading everyone's posts. Good luck. Hope you keep posting how you are doing!
