    For vegetarians

Gardenburger makes a really great meal.  Thaw and heat the patty in a skillet.  Cut a fat free pocket pita bread in half and toast it in the toaster.  Use horseradish sauce, low fat or fat free mayo and spicy brown mustard for dressing.  Stuff each half of pita with half a patty, apply dressings and add fine chopped cabbage for crunch.  Very satisfying and balanced.

    For vegetarians

I am a born Vegetarian and i have moved to US and since then i have been adapting to different cuisines. I have learnt several dishes and sandwhiches to be able to eat at different places. There are several things that i have got used to now or developed a taste. I have never missed what i have never had. But i feel awkward as usually i don't find anything to eat. Everytime my choice is sweets and fries.

But now i am getting savvy and i surf before i go out. I know for sure that i have to stay in a hotel where rooms have kitchens. I  pack healthy vegetarian snacks. Pack fruits and a chopping board and a knife. So in a new place i have learnt to be creative.

So, i think it is a matter of time before everyone on Alli can adapt and ifnd a way to eat a bit differently.

    Re: For vegetarians

Being an Indian Vegetarian i do not eat a lot of fat in my daily meals, My weight problem is due to my addiction( i should say) to sweets, i can eat most kinds of sweets other than ice-creams and icing on cakes. I don't like the creamy texture.

i take alli once a day with my heaviest meal where i know i have fat. Most my meals are uncooked in summer time. And i do not use dressing on my salads, i use salad powder called "chat Masala" from Indian stores.

    Re: For vegetarians

    Hi, Chahak

I'm just starting alli this Friday, and sort of planned to take the pill before dinner as other meals are pretty much fatfree.  So, it was very exciting to read that you use alli once a day!

How has this been for you - how long have you used alli, and are you experiencing success?

     Thanks, Chahak!
