    JUST STARTED , HAVING PROBLEM

    HEY ALL    I JUST STARTED THE ALLI PROGRAM , AND I AM FINDING IT A BIT DIFFICULT TO ADD MORE FATS , WITHOUT THE CALORIES.  THURS. DAILY  FAT INTAKE WAS ONLY 21.2 GRAMS  THAT WAS 6.2 FOR BREAKFAST , 3.5 AT LUNCH AND 7.5 FOR SUPPER , WITH 4.0 SNACK 

    YESTERDAY WAS A TINY BIT MORE.  SO TODAY I AM HAVING A BIT OF A HARD  TIME HAVING A   B.M. ,  CAN ANYONE HELP WITH ADDING FATS , WITHOUT ADDING TOO MANY CALORIES ? I THOUGHT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE OPPOSITE EFFECT.  ANY OTHERS OUT THERE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM?

    try adding a few almonds as a snack.. or  adding into a snack.. also avacados are good if you like them.. the idea here is healthy fats.. olives, olive oil, salmon, avacados, nuts (not salted).. are you drinking enough water?? that will help with constipation also..a glass of wine also works for me.. i dont know if it will for you or not.. good luck.. kathy

    Thank you , Avocado's is a really good idea , and the nuts and salmon too.  I also enjoy a glass of wine , but there is no fat in that...just calories ;)    hopefully I can have a b.m. today ???  HAHAHA   at this rate , I will only GAIN weight ! LOL  Thanks for the ideas , I am hopeful for good results as this is not too hard to follow , Continued good luck to you on your journey , as well !

    Hi Patti,

    One thing that you will need to do is to cut back on your calories from somewhere else. Most people find that they are consuming a high amount of carbohydrates and cut back on them in order to add room for fat calories. Take a look at my posts about reaching your fat grams on the beginning of the personal experiences board for more information on how to do this.
