    people with PCOS

    Hello:

I have a question very important for me, and I really sure out there is a lot a people with the same problem.  I have  PCOS, means:PoliCysticOvaricSyndrom; and when you have this problem you gain weight easily or have problem to loose weight; also the shape of the body is different more like a men not a women; so, the fat is stored in the middle section of your body.

My question is, do  you think alli will work in the same way for me? or can I take more capsules of alli daily? or just any advise o difference?

    Thank You for your help.

    Mayra

    Re: people with PCOS

    Hi Mayra,

Having PCOS which is hormonally influenced does affect your weight.  This condition does improve with weight loss, especially with the loss of fat, where estrogen tends to store itself.

Taking Alli and following the program you should see the same weight loss results as everyone else. One 60mg Alli capsule will block about 25% of the fat you eat. By eating a well balanced, reduced calorie diet and adding exercise you will be losing weight.  Avoiding processed foods and adding foods that are higher in fiber as well as whole grains will helps reduce abdominal fat.

Are you taking any medication for the PCOS?

    Best of health,

    Sophia De Monte RPh

    Re: people with PCOS

Hi Mayra, I also have PCOS. I have gained about 20 pounds because of the condition. I have been losing weight since starting the program, and I am very satisfied. But I am not taking any medication for my condition. I am here to let you know that it does work. Good luck! NaTasha

    Re: people with PCOS

It is so refreshing (bitter sweet) to hear other people with the same problem I have. I am 36 5'4" and 193 pounds. It took forever for me to be diagnosed, let alone to learn more about PCOS. Friends and family don't understand and think it is just an excuse for not losing weight. I work out for about an hour daily and watch what I eat. I have lost 7 pounds in 8 weeks! That sucks to me. Especially when you know you are putting in the hard work.

I saw the Alli in the store and decided to give it a try!My weight came on suddenly. I went from 145 to 185 in a matter of a couple of months! I know it won't come off as easy as it came on but I am so excited to hear that there has been success with Alli. I am starting tomorrow and am elated. I shall give a definite update!

If at first you don't succeed...
