    Yummy breakfast!

    Finding ways to put protein in breakfast has been hard for me. I was previously so restrictive with my diet and had only a south beach bar for breakfast. Today, I made a great breakfast with 34g of protein!

    Mix 1 cup Dannon light & fit vanilla yogurt with 1 scoop Body Fortress Vanilla Whey Powder (Got mine from Wal-Mart). Add 1T raisins and 1t slivered almonds.

     Hello, I try to add a good protein in the morning as well. I love talipia any time of the day. I do not eat pork or much red meat.  But, I also use turkey bacon by louis rich.  I eat two or three slices with short grain brown rice and two egg whites.  It's low in fat.

    • tilapia or turkey bacon with oatmeal or cream of wheat.  I do not put in the cereal.  I just have it as a side.
    • I sometimes just drink a banana cream protein shake.  I do not really like thick shakes. So, I pour a 8oz water in a shaker with ice.  Shake and down it goes as quickly as possible. lol
    • By the way, I chose tiliapia to cook often since I can buy it prepacked per slice from sam's.  It's so easy to defrost in microwave for less than minute and them steam in skillet.
    • Tuna and low fat water crackers with a teaspoon of dill or sweet relish.  Boring but good to me with my coffee. I'm just trying to add the protein as well with low fat carbs with good fiber when possible.
