    Sushi or No Sushi

Every now and then my husband and I treat ourselves to sushi When I order it I usually get California Roll, the salinas roll which is salmon and cream cheese Since Cream cheese is High in fat I may have to eliminate that one. I was also told avocado is also high in fat. I also get miso soup too. is it ok to eat sushi while taking alli if so which ones are good to eat and which ones should I avoid

Thank you for stopping by A little about Myself I am a 40 Yr old married mother of two ages 17 and 13. I love to cook sing dance surf the net and download music (Legally of course lol) The reason why I chose to start Alli is the Day I turned 40 which was in February I told myself 40 is a new beginning New start so I decided to lose weight to a size where I am "Comfortable" Not what society says I "Should be" I am now a size 32-34 My Ideal size is 26-28 IF I get back down to a 22-24 Great!! I'm not gonna take a jump off of a bridge if I dont get down to that size. I love Myself enough to not allow my weight to control me.. I am the one who controls my weight. Yes I am Full Figured I LOVE me Just want to lose for health reasons. although I am blessed that I do not have any I want to lose weight before any start. Love Begins with Self If you Cannot Love yourself FIRST...How in the Hell do you expect anyone else to love you

    Re: Sushi or No Sushi

The ingrediants in rolls to avoid in sushi rolls are cream cheese, anything tempura, or deep fried, and spicy mayonnaise. These are all high in fat with very little nutritional value. I think avocados in moderation are ok because they contain monounsaturated fats and carry a high nutritional value.

Adding extras to your sushi experience like miso soup and steamed soy beans will keep you feeling full and satisfied.

Try to get brown rice instead of the typical white rice if avaliable.

You also want to be careful about the kind of seafood being used in the sushi. Eel for example is high in fat.
