    6/30-7/6 One Week Interim Exercize Log

    The One-Week Interim Exercize Log ( current memebers only)

    1) Post daily what you did along with minutes
    2) Continue to be of support to others; encouraging, informing, advising, sharing!
    3) On July 7th, look for the new thread titled "The July 21 day "Triple-Play" Challenge. Post daily there.

    One last thing...

    Don't forget to take your weight , waist, and hip measurements and post HERE so you have a marker to judeg how you did during the upcoming July challenge. this will also help you stay the course during this Interim Week!

    One Week Interim Exercize Log - Reporting for June 29

    I'm going to go easy this week...well, that's what I say now.  Who knows, I might get a wild hair and continue on my regular routine.  Therefore, I've completely my routine for the day.

    Date:  June 29
    Weight:  145
    Waist:  31.5
    Hips:  38

    Type:  Cardio & Strength
    Minutes:  80

    Carol Joy - Not too sure my hip measurement can go down any further.  I had major hip reconstruction surgery many years ago where they saw my pelvis in half and rotated the right hip.  Because of that, my right hip sticks out further than my left.

    walking 30 mins + active house cleaning today, vacuming, window washing , floor scrubbing, you get the idea..i have come off my plateau.. i have lost 1.5 # in the last 2 weeks!! YAAAY

    next goal is to see under 170.. next week???? maybe???

    i have been on vacation at home this last week and this  coming week...i seem to do better as far as calories and excercise when i am  not working.. hey maybe its because i feel i have time and i can sleep until i am not tired.............  kathy

    highest weight all time 197 size 20 12/26/07 alli start weight 187 size 18 -- 8/22/08 167  size 14 - GOAL weight 135 size 8 every journey starts with the first step.. after that it is one foot in front of the other

    My mini goal this month:
    To lose 2lbs in the next 9 days, so I can be at 160 on my birthday! It will be tough, but I have workouts planned each day this week and scheduled-in!

    My End-of-month goal: To weight 157!

    6/29:

    I was at a wedding all day, but I did a ton of dancing and I really felt my heart rate was up for a lot of it including a lot of the hora and Israeli dancing so it was a real workout, but I was also sitting for a lot too so I'm going to count it as 90 min of dancing.

    I also felt really good because at the cocktail hour I only ate vegetables and fruit without any dip or anything. Also at the whole wedding I only drank water, that way I was able to enjoy the main course without going over on calories and fat for the day. Yay.

    Carol Joy and Patti: I was reading what you were posting on the other thread about soy meats. I love the smart life chicken strips. I use them all the time in salad or quesadillas and stuff. They're only 80 calories per serving and are fat free and they have a lot of protein and fiber. They taste really good too. I actually put them on pizza once for a party and people thought they were real chicken. 

    Carol Joy: Thanks for the vote of confidence. I hope you enjoy your housemates.

     Kathy: congrats on the weight loss. It's awesome that your plateau is over.

    I;m going to do my measurements and stuff tomorrow.

    Hi Kari,

    I've seen the SmartLife chicken strips.  Thanks for the input!  I'll add them to my list for the market.

    It sounds like you had a lot of fun at the wedding.  Good for you for keeping with the fruits and veggies during the cocktail hour...and...sticking with water!  You go, girl  :-)

    June 29 - 1710/71

    75 min total - elliptical 5 min warmup, 40 min strength training, 30 min treadmill (all the ellipticals were in use when I was ready to do cardio)

    Kathy - I agree with you about sleep ... if I can sleep soundly and get it enough of it, I, too, believe it helps me with weight loss.

    I also need to post measurements and weight later.

    Hi Girls, happy Monday!!!

    Yesterday, my husband & I did some work around the house, replacing a ceiling fan, moving furniture, cleaning up areas, so no formal exercise. 

    I took my measurements before & after the June Challenge and had great results:

    Lost 5 1/2 lbs & 5 3/4 inches overall. 
    Waist: 2"
    Belly: 1/2"
    Hips:  1"
    R. Thigh:  1/2"
    L. Thigh: 1/4"
    Breasts: 2"

    So my measurements are ready for July and I hope I see another nice change.

    Hey Everyone!  

        Thanks so much for being so welcoming to me!  I'm so excited to become a part of this group!  

    Measurements:

    Waist: 34"

    Hips: 37"

    Thigh: 23"

    Weight: 144.5(I gained a pound and a half since Thursday??  Hopefully I can work hard this week and in the July Challenge to get it down.)

     

    No formal excercise yesterday, but I did ALOT of cleaning at work last night, so I guess that counts as something, right?  I'll report later with my excercise for today, but for now I'm off to work again!  My goal for this month is to get down to 140.  I'm crossing my fingers and planning some challenging workouts for the upcomming weeks! Talk to everyone later!  Have a great Monday!

     Hello ladies! I didn't check my measurements, but will do that tomorrow morning. I did loose 5 pounds on the last challenge!

    cal/fat 1940/95 - pretty high for me, was a wierd day!

    exercise = 60 min (30 cardio and 30 core)

    I'm not sure if I'll get any exercise in today.  I was up a few times having to catheterize my husband so I'm a little tired.  We'll be taking the boat out so I'll get a tiny bit of exercise.  A little is better than none.
