    Frozen fruit snack

Hi everyone...I just started alli and am very excited about losing weight.  Here's an easy treat.  Wash some grapes...I prefer the red grapes...and freeze them.  Enjoy!

     Hi Pam,

I finally got around to trying these and they're wonderful!  Just enough to satisfy that momentary need for something sweet!

    Thank you!

    Re: Frozen fruit snack

Pam, do you have any other frozen treat ideas?  I'm thinking about pineapple.  Do most fruits freeze well and stay in bite size portions?

    Re: Frozen fruit snack

Mary, frozen pineapple chunks are also great.  My mom does cantelope as well, but I prefer the grapes and pineapple.  I also take either low fat honey graham crackers or the low fat chocolate graham crackers (hard to find) and spread a T or 2 of lite cool whip on them to create a sandwich and freeze.  Its like an ice cream sandwich!!  Sometimes I will spread the honey graham crackers with sugar free chocolate pudding and create the sandwich for freezing.  Enjoy!

    Re: Frozen fruit snack

Hi Pam and thank you.  Tomorrow is my kitchen experiment day.  Going to try to come up with my own CoolWhip recipe without all of those chemicals.  Love your "non-ice cream ice cream sandwich" idea.  If I manage to make a good topping, will let you know tomorrow!

    Best,

    Mary
