    Exercises for Thighs and Tummy

I have been taking alli for a month now and have been exercising regularly at least 5 days a week, min 60min of threadmill at 3.5 withth an incline of 5 plus another 30 min of strength training. I have lost some weight but I still have more to go. I am toning my muscles and lost some inches of waist. What I  struggle is to reduce thighs, hips and tummy. Could you recommend execises to strengthen these so that as I lose weight I don't get flabby? I appreciate the help.

Re: Exercises for Thighs and Tummy

     Hi EB84280,

Congratulations on your weight loss!  It sounds like you are really serious about your weight loss program and that is great.

There are many good, yet simple exercises that you can perform to target the areas you mentioned. For your thighs and hips you can do squats, lunges, leg extensions and adductor and abductor isolation movements.  For your stomach area you can so crunches, leg lifts, bicycle crunches, the plank hover exercise, knee ups and oblique crunches.  Keep your movements simple and under control.  Be sure to pull from the area you are targeting (not your neck) and focus on each repitition.

Keep up the good work and let me know if you have any other questions.

    Good Luck,
    Paul
