    sweet tooth

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could eat that would help cure a sweet tooth?  I love sweets, but I'm trying real hard to stay away from them...............Which ends up making me want it even more. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

     Hi Joellen,

Have you tried Weight Watchers Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream?  Very Yummy!  There are also some sugarfree candies, like Werthers that are really tasty.  There was another post about Caramel apple dip that is really great.  Fat free chocolate pudding cups...ricotta mixed with some cocoa and splenda...half banana spread with peanut butter.  Hope these help.  Pam

Do you like Fruit, JoEllen?  I don't care much for raw fruit, but like it cooked.  Try a baked apple sprinkled with a little Splenda and cinnamon.  Let it cool and then top it off with CoolWhip.  Splenda is great because it behaves like sugar in cooking.  You can even macerate strawberries in it and put it over a waffle.  Just letting cut berries sit in a dish on the counter with a little Splenda sprinkled over brings out the juices and makes it so "dessert-y".  Lady Fingers (read the labels, there are all kinds) are about 100 calories and 1 gram of fat.  Macerated strawberries on those with a touch of Cool Whip is also very good.
