    Is Alli right for me?

Hello, I purchased Alli but upon reading the literature, I am concerned whether Alli is right for me.  I am taking Glucovance for Type II diabetes.  Will Alli affect my medication?  I also, per doctor's request, take Magnesium, Chromium, and Vitamin D3.  I am concerned that Alli will diminish the effects of these supplements?

    Hi cpennington,

It is also best to check with your physician before starting any diet and exercise program.

There are no interactions between Alli and Glucovance, as well as with the supplements Magnesium and Chromium.  Clinical studies have shown a significant decrease in cardiovascular risk factors (blood pressure and cholesterol) and the development of type II diabetes when losing weight with the addition of Alli over lifestyle changes alone.

Being that vitamin D is fat soluble it must be taken at least 2 hours apart from an Alli dose to allow for its complete absorption.

    Hope this helps.
