Hi gurls!

How was ur weekend..mine was ok..i didn’t do much…

My sink allergy was like death!! I was scratching my self like crazy..i don’t kno if u remember or not when I first went to India in oct.. I had terrible tummy ..so I took some meds..given my a Dr..dont worry J..but the thing is I had a severe allergy reaction ..my sink is forever itching.. so when I came back here I went to a allergy specialist.. he gave me high dose of anti histamines.. it did not cure me… all these months I have been taking the tabs..but no cure in sight..so finally I went to another dr..she is Indian..said ‘I will take care of u’..i was happy..but now not so sure…she gave me steroids… for a whole month!..weight again here again…as if I don’t have enough trouble loosing!...anyway I wanted to get ride of the itching so I am taking the steroids(no alli for now)… today I went for a skin allergy test..she says I am positive n that I should take allergy shots….now I am not so sure I need to take shots..coz..i don’t feel tht bad when my nose is running…getting shots every week is a huge time commitment.. I don’t think I can take off from work every week..boss is not very nice…so I cannt ask for few hrs off every week..the clinic is 1 hr form home..  so I told her I will get the shot some time later..for now just get rid of the itch..

So now I am taking just the steroids.. n anti histamines.. i will b goin back to her in oct..

Sorry abt  the long post.. the whole this is just messed up!! I cannt belive the Dr don’t have a cure for me..she gave me steroids… but still don’t know if it get rid of the itch completely!! I am just pissed ..sorry gurls..

 Hello every one.

I got an e-mail from my cousin.Today is the funeral in VT.She said her brother was doing a little better and so was the baby.The little one was missing Mom very badly.My cousin said the wake was a closed casket but her and the family had a viewing and she looked very peaceful.They put some pictures of the baby and her brother in the casket before they sealed it.So now the healing will begin.

Elia what is happening on the east coast?Hurricanes hurricanes and more hurricanes.

Now we play the waiting game to see where they are going to go and see if they make it up here.The wheather chanel is saying we may get rain and winds late saturday.Just have to wait and see you never now were there going to go or if it will just hit land and move and go inland.Then we have the others coming,stay safe and get those hurricane supplies ready and hope you dont need them.

Buzz i had the allergy shots years ago but i had a reaction to them and ended up in the emergency room with an asthma attack.The stuff im allergic to sometimes hits really bad and other times not to bad.My body is so messed up.

Judy i dont know who the bigger party girl you or Elia  LOL

I was good today and went out and did my walk.It was hot,i was sweating like a pig by time i got done.Well its time to get ready for work

 Oh Buzz, I hate to poke fun at you when you're feeling so miserable, but if your sink itches, you should call a plumber, not a doctor.  Sorry, couldn't resist it, I honestly don't know what you're saying when you say your "sink" itches, can't figure out what part of the body that would be.  Skin?  Anyway, I'm sorry you're going through so much misery, and I hope your doctor can find a cure soon.  If it's a severe allergy, the shots may be the only answer.  Keep us posted!

 Hey Elia, the gay wedding was awesome.  I may be able to post some of the pictures in an email to you and the others I have email addresses for.  I'm even in some of the pictures, so you can see what I look like finally.  I'd love to hear about the wedding you photographed.  Honestly, this wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever attended.  They had some very nice touches which I wish other people would incorporate, very interactive with the audience.  Loved it!  The reception was at a gay couple's house and so of course all the food was gourmet'ish and awesome.  And then Lisa and I went out to dinner at Fisherman's Wharf, and as of this morning I've gained back two pounds.  Back on the plan today though.

 Hi Linda, I'm so sorry for what you're going through, but you're right, now the healing can begin.  What a horrible thing to have happen to a family, so unfair, makes you really wonder where in the greater powers of the universe this type of crap comes from, so unfair, makes no sense to me whatsoever. 

I think Elia is the bigger party animal between the two of us, but I think I might be trying to catch her now that she's gone back to work.  Life is too much fun to take it too seriously.

buzz i feel your pain i've done the steroid thing for sinus 5 times, and each time trying to lose the weight is harder, i still haven't lost my weight that i gained from the last time when i had a cyst.  i was thinking buzz maybe you need to try eating gluten free, some of the signs of celiacs is skin rashes,  itching, food allergies ,& stomach problems. .

well the baby left on tues. but i was with him for over 7hrs on wed. since him and my one twin had dr.'s appts. at Riley's childrens hospital which is a 3hr drive. and fri. i'll be seeing him at another appt. that i had scheduled for him and both of the twins.    anyways the twins siblings came today for a 24hr visit. they're all sleeping now, it went well, today was actually the twins baby brother's birthday , so we celebrated his 1st birthday! we had a great time!  then when it was time to brush teeth and go potty, the 2yr old boy watched the twin potty and i put him on the potty too, and he went!...which is very exciting since he dosen't even talk yet(might be austic) the 4yr old sister had so much fun playing with my 9& 10yr old daughters.   hopefully next week they'll be moving in.

hope everyone has a great evening, i must say i feel so blessed, i truely feel that caring for these children is what God's plan for my life is,and one of the bonus for me is, it keeps me from obsessing about myself, and truly gives my life a purpose!  it's really nice to be a part of this group where i can vent about my weight issues and other things, everyone's support has been another blessing for me.   thanks everyone, patty

 Good afternoon ladies

Its getting very cloudy here,i went out and did my errands early dont want to get wet.There talking high tides and flooding tonite then tomorrow it will be a sunny day and beautiful again.Last nite i thoght i hread about midnite and went out and looked out and saw her car and no daughter,So  iwent outside and the sky was beautiful.A lot of white whispy clouds had moved in. looked really cool.It rained really hard about 5:00 am i think the left over fro gustave and now Hanna.The wind is starting to pick up.

Judy i loved the pictures.I went to SF  twice. The first time was when my niece was very sick and we knew she wasnt going to last long.Her grand father took us on the fastest tour of SF that any one has ever had.I thought we were going to die in the line to come down the crookedest street.There was a long line of cars and he had a standard.He had to keep putting on the emergeny brake and then take it off and we rolled back a little each time.I said my prayers that day.

Buzz the wood chuck ate my cucumber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11.The little B------.He only took a bite out of the end.

 how's everyone doing?

it's seems so quiet here without having a baby in the house! we're hoping the 3 siblings will be here next week.  i'm so excited that lb i lost seems to truly be gone!....now just 7more to go. 

it ended up being such a nice day today, yesterday we had all that rain and drearyness.  how's everyone in the hurricaine areas doing?

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss.  I hope that you are doing ok.  My prayers are with you and your family.  Liz how are you feeling now.  Buzz how are you??  Judy what have you been up to and how are you feeling?? Elia how are you and how is the job?  Pat you will have a house full again soon, how ya doing?

I have been keeping up with the post, but I haven't posted because I have been kinda yucky and didn't want to spread my negative vibes to everyone...Sorry. 

My pigmy goat elvis ate maple leaves which are like poision to goats and might not make it.  We have to wait three more days and see if we will have to take him to the vet to put him down.  I cried because I felt guilty for not trying to love him more then I did.  But, it seems like everything I get attached to just leaves me one way or another.  Life is so crule sometimes....Daisy stays close to him trying to comfort him.  So sweet.  She will be lonely if he is gone.  She has made a friend with him. 

My hubby has been working on the chicken coup and making little boxes and what nots.  Buzy bee he is.  We are doing pretty good with the baby chicks.  Only lost one so far.  I named them all....Ha-Ha.  And can't tell if they are boys or girls...And I get them mixed up because some look alike.  I need to tie a little ribbon on the feet with name tags.  And don't think I wont...

I haven't been watching the diet but been working outside a lot.  Still weigh the same.  So I guess its ok.  I need to focus more though if I want the 170tys.

Been working and looking for another part time job.  Our bills are far behind.  And I guess that is why it's been so stressful around here.  I am very tired from working my 40+ job.  But have no choice really.

 Hello everyone!! Linda, how are you and the rest of your family doing? Hey, where do you live you? I know you mentioned it in the past, and you really must be from the east coast because we are getting ready for the same "hurricane" events!! The weather is just great around here, but it was just beautifull before Andrew hit!! Some of our neighbors have put their shutters up, not a very goog sign of things to come!! I will bring inside our small plants that are in the backyard, also a small fountain, solar powered, that we have in front of the house. I really do not think it will come, but we may get some strong winds, shoot if that thing takes a different path than predicted, we may be right in the middle of it!! I guess we just have to wait until it hits land, poor Cuba, it seems like it is going to be in the middle of the hurrican for days!!  Kim, I am so sorry about Elvis, I do hope he pulls thru!! Let us know, please.  Oh babe, those bills do manage to keep on comming!! Oh shoot, they are saying on the news to get in the bathtub in case the winds are so strong that they do damage to the house, well folks, guess what?? We did away with the bathtubs and have showers only and those have glass doors, not on your life would I try to save myself in there!! Not only that, but both bathrooms have doors that lead to the ouside right in front of them!! Judy hon, I just loved the pictures!! Girl, you may be taking over the party animal title!! Let me tell you I had a wonderfull time at that gay wedding that I took oictures at, everyone was os friendly and outgoing!! It really was great and the food was superb!!  Buzz hon, I do hope that yyou are feeling better!! Hey, do listen to Pat, why not try eating gluten free and see if that helps? Remember that it takes lots of time and trials and errors to determine whether you are allergic to gluten, so go ahead on your own and try eating gluten free and see what happens, now forget the milk duds!! hey, does anyone have Lizz's e-mail? I am getting worried about her!! Patty, you are an angel to those children! I am so glad that they have you!! Hey, I really messed up yesterday, with food, beer and the pool! The worst part was the pool, I was feeling better and decided to go get some sun, well shoot I do not want to lose my tan!, I should have known better!! I ended up spending lots of time in the cold water and then felt really bad at night, I thought that I was going to get sick again, but I guess not, I do have a scratchy throat again, but my body feels just fine!! Linda hon, my UM Huricanes lost last night!! I am glad that I was not feeling well because I fell asleep during the game, so I did not have time to scream at them for playing so badly! They really sucked, specially the quarter back!! I sure hope that the Dolphins do better today! Not much hope, since they are playing against the dreaded New York Jets!!  Hello every one

Made it throgh the tropical storm ok.We got about 4-5 inches of rain last nite and early Sunday morning.But i didnt lose power so i was happy.

Elia it was so good to hear your voice yesterday.Glad the storm is not going your way.

I think i need to catch a leprechon and get his pot of gold.(Can you tell im irish).Then my money woes would be over.I applied 2 years ago for fuel assisatnce and got 500 hundred dollars toward my fuel bill and i applied last year but was told i make to much money.We get paid  10% differential for after 3:00 pm and 15 % for Sundays.I cant afford not to work the Sundays or not go in the extra hour early every day.So im dammed if do and dammed if i dont.Guess i just need to get a second job.

 i hope elvis is ok.

I am glad the storms did not do any harm.  Very scary to watch the weather channel. 

My pigmy goats...Elvis is slowing going down hill.  Poor Daisy is being like a mother to him.  Trying her best to supply comfort.  Just watching her just makes me cry.  It wont be long now, and we just don't have the heart to have him put down.  He doesn't seem to be in pain or anything.  Daisy is staying close to him.  The vet said he probably ate wild cherry tree leaves, which are poision to live stock.  So we went through the field pulling out trees.   All we can do is wait now.  Keep him with fresh water and food.  We have been changing out the hay and doing all we can to make him comfortable and loving on Daisy.  The vet said it depends on how much he ate.  I just feel so sad... My hubby made them their own little house.  Daisy loves to climb so my hubby made her a little stair step ramp to climb on.  Which she hasn't had much interest in the past week.  Too busy being near her Elvis.  I have a lot of love for Elvis which is so strange to me.  I did not like him that much when we first got him.  But, since we have Daisy they were so cute to sit and watch them play.  And he was really starting to like me.  Grrr!!!!!!  So when I get home from work each day I go straight to the field and see if he is still breathing.  So far so good.  But, he looks very frail.  So....Just waiting to see if he pulls out of it..Hope so...

Nothing really new.  Our weather has been really good.  Calm before the storm I guess....

Hope everyone is doing good.  Having to get a second job sucks!!  I still haven't had any luck.  The bad thing is I am very tired when I get off from work.  Just do not know if I could do it.  Have to try it and see.  Atleast until some of the bills are caught up.  And I know they are always going to be there, but atleast I would like to pay them on time.  We are always late or just paying half...And the list goes on...Very frustrating...

 Hello everyone

I tried to post this afternoon before going to work but we had thunder and lightening so my computer was acrtng funny so just gave up,After last week i thought things would be quiet.  LOL The man upstairs said lets get Linda really stressed out.Last nite when i got home my daughter was on the the computer and showed me an article.her ex boy friend hit a lady with his car, and they do not think she is going to make it.he was very upset and called my daughter,they still talk some times.Then just to really stress me up my friend who i go out to eat with(when we have 5 cents) went to ceramics last nite and while going home a car hit her car head on.The driver was drunk she thinks.He backed up and took off and some one in the back seat was waving a beer bottle out the car window. Thank goodness she  did not get hurt except for being a little sore today. Well so much for being stress free this week.

I tried to post under a couple of posts and couldnt they were to long and im just not in the mood to call Alli and talk tio them.

Pat im so sorry about Elvis,i hope he pulls threw some how.

 Linda and Kimberley, you are having your troubles!  Both of you need some good luck today, and I am sending it to you through the air waves.  Did you catch it?  Elvis needs to pull through this cuz Kimberley just can't take anymore of this with her dearly loved animals.  Kim, you and your husband both should have been vets.  Linda can't take anymore with her loved ones, way too much stress for this lady.  I am doing fine, knock on wood, trying to stay on the program, but went out to eat last night at the Cheese Factory, and well, you know what I did.  Today there's a staff luncheon at Round Table, so I'll try to eat mostly from the salad bar, but well, you know what I'll do.  Tomorrow night I'm meeting a group from work for drinks, and well, you know what I'll do.  And next Tuesday I leave for New York with Renee, and will be there (and offline of course) until Sunday.  And you definitely know what I'll do there.  It's tough out there for we weaklings, but we'll do it when we can, and not worry too much about it when we can't.  I hope everyone is having a good day.
