    I am so sad I gained 1 lb this week and I tried so hard to remember to write everything down. I also had to

    deal with the tropical storm fay who really put a damper on my workout I usually walk a 30 - 45 minutes a day

    in the evening after supper and before bedtime, with the storm I was stuck inside buildings all week and that

    had a bad effect on me . It was always wanting to eat. I curbed it alot so I guess 1lb gain isn't so bad. I will

    do better this week, I also got my refill pak so look out fat here we come to get you back under control

    Hi Skinnysugar,

    It's really great that you came up with the reasons for gaining this week. You can't go back and change what happened, but you can learn from it and prepare for the next time that you are stuck inside because of the weather. I recommend that you have some food and activity plans ready to go. You can have a treat that you prepare for yourself when you are stranded, but you can only have it if you stick with the rest of your plan for the day. For activity, you can have an exercise video that you do or music that you dance to. You can start with one plan or come up with a couple of different options.

     Hi SkinnySugar (love your name).  I just wanted to recommend a video that you can use to exercise indoors.  It's called "Walk at Home", and you can buy it at Walmart or most stores that carry videos, or online from Amazon.  There are a few different ones, depending on whether you want to walk for one mile, two miles, three miles, etc.  It's fun and you can do it at your own pace.  Good luck, and I'm glad you're back on track.

     This is my theory on gaining.  When you start a diet it is a drastic change so you loose. Then you body thinks you are going to starve it so it starts not burning calories. The next week, it figures out you are feeding it so you go back to loosing. Sounds good to me. 

    I do the weight watchers videos.  They are great.  You are constantly changing exercises it goes by before you know it.  But when all else fails, blame in to the rain. LOL!  Hope Fay wasn't too bad on you! Let me know how you do next week.

     thank you for all the great support. I am so glad that I have friends in this group. I gave increased my water

    walking this week I have  walked 2 times this week for roughly 1/2 hour to 1 hour boy does it feel great

     I really want to say thanks to every one for all the email it made me feel great, and the ideas are wonderful

    going to get the dvd's and work really hard with them. I love music and goofing around with funny made-up steps

    when i walk all cows start howling ( tee-hee) once again thanks for all the great support it means alot to me
