Hey!
Great job on your first week! I love reading the stories.
I actually work for GlaxoSmithKline...the company that makes Alli (but..I never actually worked on it...its a huge company..and I work on a completely different division that has nothing to do with Alli..hehe..). But in any case, I stopped by the company store a couple wks ago and bought the 90 day starter kit. It sat on my dining room table for 2wks before I got up the nerve to take it. I kept hearing about the Treatment Effects, so I was kinda scared. But - in those 2 wks..I read as much as I could about Alli, and stocked up my fridge/pantry with healthier foods. I started eating low-fat a few days before I took it, and then I finally took Alli for the first time last night after a healthy dinner (I'm Indian..so I usually eat Indian food....which, if you make it at home, is SOOO much healthier than the food at indian restaurants). I also don't eat a lot of meat usually either....but get a lot of my protein from lentils, beans, etc.
Well..so far so good. I know its just my 2nd day...but I need to take it 1 day at a time. No TE's yet either.
I am 5'5", 168lbs. I don't look like I weigh that much, b/c my doctor told me most of it is muscle/bone weight, which is very good..., but my BMI is still 27, and also my cholesterol is borderline of normal and high. I'm a size 10 - but my clothes are fitting kinda snug right now. So - altho I may not be big, I think I could stand to lose some weight to get healthy, and get rid of excess fat. My goal right now is to get down to 160lb. After that I will set another goal. I think I want my goal weight to be about 145lb. I don't really want to be lose much more than that, b/c I like my curves! :)
Please keep the stories coming, I love to read them to get motivated - and hopefully I can post my own stories of weightloss on here soon!!!
