Hi everyone!
After 4 years of the weight going up and down like a roller coaster, I finally bit the bullet and bought Alli (the sale at CVS was also an incentive!) I was at my heaviest prior to my divorce, over 200 pounds - I lost 55 after the divorce and felt wonderful! Then in 2004 I was put on some medication to reduce a fibroid tumor and that added 25 pounds on to me, then so many other things that just compounded more weight on - 2 car accidents (medication), 5 family deaths in 5 months (depression), foot surgery (medication & no exercise); now I am back up to 184 and not liking the number nor me.
My activity level is not what I would like it to be; finding time to exercise is difficult when you already get up at 5 for work, work a 12-13 hour day (full time & part time jobs) and trying build up 2 side jobs (Notary & Mary Kay), getting finished with everything about 9 pm. I'm drained, not completely there for my children and not there for myself. Weight watchers worked for a very short time, but I still try to follow their guidelines; portion control I have down pat. I just don't always make the right choices.
Tomorrow morning I will start my pre-diet and stay on that for the week, then I will start Alli next Saturday - AFTER I do a 5 mile walk for breast cancer awareness (not taking any side effect chances).
Looking forward to meeting new friends
