Hi Laurie,
Alli will block 25% of the fat in the meal within 1 hour of the dose. You can choose take take alli 1 to 3 times a day.
For optimal results with alli, 3 pills per day is suggested, since it will be blocking calories. The plan is flexible to allow it to work for you. If some meals are non-fat or very low in fat you can skip that dose(just keep calories in check), this usualy occurs with breakfast.
