    caffeine and drug mixture

     Hi-

I am thinking of taking alli but I cannot have caffeine and I am taking synthroid for a messed up thyroid. Doctor says it is fine with thyroid but I forgot to ask about caffeine. She did mention that wearing a pad would be a good choice along with taking a change of pants until I get used to the side effects. Nothing I have not heard about this.

Will this work for me if I have more than 50 to lose? I am at 237 with big bones on a 5ft 3 body. The doctor confirmed my big bones not just a another polite name for over weight. I love my curves but want to be healthier for me. For me 175 to 200 I am comfy and healthy.

Please let me know so I can go and start my healthier life. I wish to lose some of me before I turn 40 (2yrs).

The birth of Venus was no size zero, embrace your curves.

    Re: caffeine and drug mixture

    Hi,

Alli does not contain caffeine.  Orlistat, the active ingredient in alli, is an inhibitor of the fat digesting enzyme lipase.  Alli works by blocking a percentage of dietary fat, thereby creating a caloric deficit.  Many people who take alli have the same weight loss goals as you do.  By following the plan which includes well balanced, reduced calorie meals and exercise you will reach a healthier weight and become a fitter you.

    Best of health.
