Kathy - This time of year, my husband joins a golf club. It's off-season here (hot and all the snow birds are gone). I can use the golf club's gym, so it's easier to get in a good workout on Saturday and Sunday (the gym near my office is further from home and has very short hours on Sunday). So last month, I got in at least one extra good workout a week.
Overall, last month, I reduced my calories, too. I also used another site to track food. Alli's food tracker consumes quite a bit of time.
Last month, the work stress and my hours were down, too. But this month, the stress is back; management doesn't want to give me the demotion (uh ... thanks ... I think). However, they are starting to see that there are elements that cause serious problems, so I believe they'll eventually do something, but it's stressful while it's going on.
Thanks, for the encouragement. I was amazed when this women at the gym gave me that compliment. When I started using this gym 3 years ago, I hobbled in there on a cane to do the only thing I could do, ride the recumbent bike. Sometimes one guy would talk to me, but, otherwise, everyone there at 6 AM ignored me. You sound like you're doing fine ... you've really incorporated the healthy aspects into a lifestyle and you're doing great!
