    Week One Losses

Weighed in last sunday at 229. Today i weighed in at 221.4. Call it crazy, but it happened. I expect next week will only be a loss of about 2-3 lbs but i'm excited that i lost that much this week. My abercrombie button down shirts fit me again without bunching all up when i sit down. A big plus because i love my clothes and i bought them knowing that i needed to lose weight before i wore them. So i'm very happy that i can do that now.

I did make a few slip ups. I drank on wednesday night, 7 bud lights. Then i went to a diner late that night and ate breakfast food, very bad idea. I was so mad at myself the next day. so mad. But that was my only major slip up.

But i'm happy right now. This is actually a simple way to live. Anywhere from 3-12 grams of fat per meal is easy to abide by, And my calories rarely exceed over 1500 a day. So i'm lovin it.

    Hey Pat247,

Losing 7.6 lbs in a week is awesome.  So you had a few buds the other night and ate breakfast for dinner, as long as you're on the right path, keeping your calories under 1500/day, on average, that's awesome.  When I first started this plan, I noticed my caloric intake well over 2000 and sometimes over 3000/day!  Now, I'm down at 1500 day, on average, and it feels great.

Keep upt the good work and forgive yourself for a small slip---maybe it was a way of celebrating your loss of 7.6 lbs!

    Re: Week One Losses

great job !  today was only day in my first weekand no weight from the previous day but i have already dropped 8 pounds. tomorrw will be the start of week 2 and as long as i drop something i will be happy. I wont be discouraged and will just work harder and continue to make good choices. So far the plan has been easy to follow . I am staying below the fat grams for each meal and no treatment effects so fat. Have worked out for 30 minutes every night after dinner it has helped force me to go to bed earlier and not stay up late and snack on crap.

    Re: Week One Losses

yes i have . So far so good. Into my fourth week of th eprogram and up to 20 pounds lost, and finding myself tempted for the things that got me here less and less. I continue to have some activity each night and planning my meals and snacks really has been helpful. Maintaing my daily journal and the foods that i eat has also keep my aware of what i am consuming and how much. So far i can safely say not 1 TE yet.

Sounds like you had a great first week, keep in mind , that most of us experience high numbers that first week , then they start to taper down. That seems to be a very common theme and the 1-2 or 2-3 pounds is really the norm. And that rate puts me at my goal this summer. Keep up the good work and see you at 200.

    Re: Week One Losses

I just started using this product. I have used it before. Current weight 199. I have been training for a marathon in October. My fitness has been consistant but you need to watch diet in order to get max results. Anyway I hope to lose maybe 10 lbs over the next 8 weeks or so which will help me in this race. My goal is to get to 175 approx this winter as I am training for a 39 mile race over two days (Disneyworld Goofy race). Since none of us gained our weight overnight you have to be patient. There will be times when you dont seem to move the scale. Maintaining weight is better than gaining. If you combine Alli with exercise, the results are even better. Even burning 100-200 extra calories per day can save you 2-3 lbs per month addtl.
