Its an amazing feeling, Ive NEVER been this size and I dont even recognize myself in pictures! I wish continued success to every other alli user and stick with it! It does work!

     Hi melissa.axo,

CONGRATULATIONS!  That is amazing! How long have you been on alli?  I would love to be 140.  Any advice or tips you can give me?

    Re: 100 lbs lost!

Just keep at it and watch your diet! I lost my first 75lbs in the first 10 months of being on Alli, and Ive been on it almost 2 years now. My weight loss slowed down a lot once I started getting smaller which is normal. But I can tell you this, I did it all with just changing my diet. I hate exercise and have really never done any. Its a lot of work but so worth it in the end. You can do it!

    Re: 100 lbs lost!

I started last year and then quit around Christmas and just have started back.  Oh, how I wish I had just kept on going! I'm not much of an exerciser either so that is inspiring.  Just from the different messages I've read I think it takes a about a year to a year and a half to lose 100 pounds on average.  Would you say thats about right?

Wow, Melissa!  That's so great.  Congratulations!  Now what I call the harder part-- the maintenance.  I pray that you stay so pleased with how you feel now, you are able to stay just as vigilant as you did while you were losing.  Keep us posted. :)

    Re: 100 lbs lost!

Yes, Ive been on it awhile now. Close to 2 years. I lost the first 75 in my first ten months. I would say that the hardest part is that the smaller you get the slower it comes off. Have to work harder at it I guess. I still have never exercised so Ive been doing it all with diet pretty much. I have decided to attempt running now though, so we will see how that goes! Good luck to you, its a long hard road but it is so worth it in the end!

    Re: 100 lbs lost!

I have lost 70 lbs twice in my life and now i have to do it again. once you get started its easy because you see the results and want more... for me its just a matter of seeing the first ten pounds come off. Its pretty cool when people you have not seen in a long time do a double-take or not recognize you at all!!! Keep up the great work!!

    Blessings,

    Victoria

    Re: 100 lbs lost!

Melissa.....that is just outstanding! You must be so proud of yourself. WOW!

What is really surprising to me is that you really didn't do any exercise. I didn't think that was possible, to be honest.

What was your eating plan like? Did you just follow your recommended calories and fat grams for the day?

    I'm just really curious!

    Re: 100 lbs lost!

Thank you all for your kind words! Its been a lot of work, mainly on staying on track of my diet. Yes, very little exercise. Only the normal stuff you get from being outside and stuff. I really dont like exercise. But, that just tells you how bad my diet used to be. When I started alli I stuck to the program very very well. No more than 15 grams of fat per meal. The first 75 came off pretty quickly (10 months) and Im now at 105 lost and it has taken a total of 2 years. I still dont really exercise but I keep my calories at about 1200 per day.
