I'm so excited to see this group. I've needed a place to fit in!
Let's see...I started Alli this time last year and lost 13 lbs. I gained some of that back, but not much. :D I started Alli again on May 4th, and as of yesterday, lost 6 lbs.
Although I'm aware the scale is not my friend, and weight does fluctuate, I've been making it a habit to weigh myself (nakedly!) everday at the same time. This way, I can kind of figure out my triggers for weight gain.
This past week has been hard! I never thought I ate poorly, or ate a lot, but turns out, I do! lol. I've said no to cupcakes, cookies, fried chicken wings, loaded baked potatoes, etc. Considering it is graduation season and Mother's day, it sure isn't helping. However, I feel like saying "No!" and that little blue pill are doing the trick! (I just hope every week I can lose 6 lbs, though I know that's not reasonable).
For me, the hardest part is making sure I eat enough fat. It is easy to buy all know fat/low fat stuff...and be full on it. However, we need some fat in our diet. Alli seems to work best when we are eating it. Go figure!
I'm terrified of treatment effects. yuck.
Anyway, I'm here and need support! Let's do this!
