     Hi everyone,

    I actually started last month but I kind of stopped for a week or so and now I am back on track.  I look forward to going through this program with you all.  So far I am down 7 and can't wait for Wednesday's weigh in to see how I have done since I got back on the right trail.  I have to be serious this time and stay motivated!  Good luck to everyone and I loko forward to hearing from you all.

    I notice that a lot of the other groups give themselves challenges to accomplish. Should we try that? How about excercising at least 20 minutes a day until Sunday, the 17th and we can check back in with eachother on our progress. How does that sound?

    Start Date: 5/5/09 - Weight to lose: 188

    1st Mini Goal: Lose 5% of body weight (18lbs) - 6/24/09

    2nd Mini Goal: Lose 17lbs - 8/24/09

    3rd Mini Goal: Lose 16 lbs -

    4th Mini Goal: Lose 15 lbs -

    Milestone Goal: Lose 60lbs before my vacation cruise over Thanksgiving week

     Hello everyone!  I started alli on May 8.  So far I have been doing good.  I weight in on Wed, so I hope to see a drop in the lbs.  I am currently 216.  My goal wt is 170.  I hope to meet some buddies on here so that I can checkin and help keep me motivated :)

     Hello!  I also started alli on friday and hope to keep in touch with someone who is experiencing the same issues.  I am currently 216 and have a goal wt of 170.

     I dont know  where to go for the weight in'' I am 5ft2,173lbs,I havent been writting everything down, I will starting tomorrow,I walk 35=40 mins a day, My daughter gave me 2 sessions with a persona trainor,I havent been at the gym as often as I should, expect this will get me there tomorrow,good luck everyone,I want to loose 25-30 lbs.

     Yes ok,20 min's exercise every day, I wont include walking because I do that, see you the 17th

    I'm so excited to see this group.  I've needed a place to fit in!

    Let's see...I started Alli this time last year and lost 13 lbs.  I gained some of that back, but not much. :D  I started Alli again on May 4th, and as of yesterday, lost 6 lbs.

    Although I'm aware the scale is not my friend, and weight does fluctuate, I've been making it a habit to weigh myself (nakedly!) everday at the same time.  This way, I can kind of figure out my triggers for weight gain.

    This past week has been hard!  I never thought I ate poorly, or ate a lot, but turns out, I do!  lol.  I've said no to cupcakes, cookies, fried chicken wings, loaded baked potatoes, etc.  Considering it is graduation season and Mother's day, it sure isn't helping.  However, I feel like saying "No!" and that little blue pill are doing the trick!  (I just hope every week I can lose 6 lbs, though I know that's not reasonable).

    For me, the hardest part is making sure I eat enough fat.  It is easy to buy all know fat/low fat stuff...and be full on it.  However, we need some fat in our diet.  Alli seems to work best when we are eating it.  Go figure! 

    I'm terrified of treatment effects. yuck.

     

    Anyway, I'm here and need support!  Let's do this!



    I'm a huge Dave Matthews Band fan. :D

     Hi there! I'm Vinny and I started my weight loss journey about 6 weeks ago but I'm starting this program tomorrow. The best of luck to all of you and remember "Stay Motivated."

    I am up for the challenge. 20 minutes a Day. I did 20 min yesterday and I am off right now to our exercise room at work.

    Anyone else up for the challenge???

     Sugar - Welcome! And I am a big DMB fan, too! I find that sometimes their music doesn't get me moving very fast, but the long jam sessions keep me going for a long time. :)

    Vinnie - Congrats on the weightloss so far- that's inspiring.

    Tracy - Good for you for joining the challenge. I have a class tonight, but am hoping I can at least go walking tomorrow. :)

     Today was my first weigh in.  Although I undercalculated my start weight (or at least my scale says i did, LOL), I did see a 7 lb loss.  I am going to take it, even though I know my scale is totally screwed up!
