    Using Wii Fitness

My husband and I went out to buy a Wii Fit today.  I have been looking at gyms, exercise equipment for my home but found that 1. I didnt have the room,  2. i would be the only one to enjoy it, and 3. I really have a hard time finding the time to go to a gym and memberships are steep around where I live.  So instead we bought a wii fit and tried it today and I found that I got an excellent workout.  I would recomend this to anyone!!!!!  I actually worked out for 1 1/2 and never even realized it.  I was sore afterwards though.  Eventhough its my first day, I really thing I'm going to love it.

Has anyone else been using the Wii Fit?

    Re: Using Wii Fitness

My husband and I bought one for Christmas.  I used it for a couple of days and stopped.  I just started using Alli so I plan on getting back on it.  It really is fun and time does go by quickly.  Let's keep in touch so we can keep each other motivated to keep using it.

Sounds Great.  I played tennis for an hour today.  You should also try Wii Active.  After working out with Fit, I played for an hour boxing with Active.  I couldnt believe how much of a work out I got.

    Re: Using Wii Fitness

I got Wii Fit last year when it first came out. I loved it and used it all the time until December. I bought My Fitness Coach, also for the Wii, and started really getting a workout! Just recently I bought the EA Sports Active, which has some great stuff on it, but won't be replacing my daily MFC workout. I find it's a great, fun addition but doesn't burn the calories as much as MFC does for me. I do love the boxing, which was always my favorite on Wii Fit, too. If you really want to blast your legs, try the inline skating! Active also uses the Balance Board from Wii Fit for some of it's activities. Gives you a few more games to play.

we bought the wii fit last may, used it for like 2 weeks and then stopped.  I pulled it out on sunday and have worked out every night this week.  I have been going between the yoga and strengthe training.  Like the hula hoop thing too...that works me out Right now I am at about 20 minutes a day but figure i was 0 minutes a day so that is tons better.

    lildebbie0506,

I am so proud of you.. Work it and use it.. It wasn't cheap and it will make you happy...Mine is next to the couch and it is easy to use.. Of course I haven't used it all week because it was my last week of feeding kids at school.  I took the week off.. Now I am off for a month and starting tomorrow on the the Wii. again. I have used it faithfully everyday for 3 to 5 times a week.  It has really helped me.. Linda

Re: Using Wii Fitness Board with My Fitness Coach has MEGA benefits!

    Hi girls!

I just posted on the daily check in - have any of you tried the MFC?  It's a wonderful program used with the WII board - you should try it - she REALLY pushes you, and you can increase/decrease the levels to suit your own needs and add the fitness ball too with weights.

I switch between WII Fit & MFC & using my XBox-Netflix connection for pilates along with my treadmill - they're in three different places of the house to keep things on the un-boring side (seeing the same thing all the time) -

    BEST of luck!

Re: Using Wii Fitness Board with My Fitness Coach has MEGA benefits!

    Morning,

Just got thru with 46 minutes of MFC and WiiFit... I was lazy for 11 days and did not use it.. I then gained a pound and a half.. So off it is coming with exercise.. I love it when I do it.. I was so good for a long time and thought maybe I needed a week off.  Well, don't do that.. It isn't good for the body.. Leross, I hope you go and get one.. You will not be sorry... Linda

    Re: Using Wii Fitness

i like the price of the golds gym because it isn't as expensive as the wii active.
