    Tomorrow will be one month

Tomorrow will officially be one month since starting low fat/low cal and my 3rd week of Alli. I'm happy to report 12 pounds of weight lost! I'm so excited to see my ticker move but I'm darn tired of counting. I hate, hate, hate the counting and Lord knows I can't remember to take my mult-V because I'm tired at the end of the day. I've found it to be fun to make new foods that taste great but are good for you especially those pumpkin brownies. Yum-o! Those are my #1 fav! I have had minimal TE's. Only some minor cramping on one occasion. No oil in the toilet or anything like that. For the first time in my life I eat breakfast and I have to say that I love oatmeal with a little vanilla! I cut out all beef and replaced it with turkey and I don't even miss it. I can't believe I didn't switch years ago. Fruit, Skinny Cow icecream and The Laughing Cow cheese are my new best friends. I have to admit that sometimes I struggle to reach my fat grams but other than that so far so good. Physically I feel great and my back is so much smaller! I can feel my hips more and those love handles are going bye-bye baby! Thanks to everyone for the support and good luck on your journey!

    Hi Tiffanytashay,

Congratulations on your success! Isn't it amazing how good "healthy" food can taste? The fear of feeling deprived prevents many people from trying new foods. Every single calorie counts so wherever you can cut back you are saving calories and losing weight. It really is worth experimenting.

    Keep up the great work,

     Hi tiffanytashay,

Congrats on your weight loss. I have to agree with you, those Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches taste just like the real thing. I have to be careful with them to make sure I don't overindulge. I have been back on Alli for 2 months now, and I have officially lost 20 lbs. (I need to update my ticker.) It's a good feeling when you start to see all your hard work pay off when you're noticing your clothes fitting better (loose) and people actually walk up to you asking if you've lost weight. Keep up the good work.

    C.W. 207 LBS.

    G.W. 125 LBS.

Re: Tomorrow will be one month

Thank you for you inspirational store . I am 10 days in and the scales said I lost 2 pounds. I am so used to seeing it say I gained weight I was shocked to see a loss. Woohooo! I quit smoking 14 months ago and have been piling on the pounds ever since. I have a very hard time reaching the fat gram goal and have not been able to in the 10 days. I think I will try some of the ice cream and cheese you mentioned above to see if those will help. Thank you for the ideas.

You're welcome. I've also found that adding nuts is a great and tasty way to boost fat grams without adding too many calories.

Re: Tomorrow will be one month

I stared Alli on May 22 and have lost 11 pounds.  I got rid of all of the high fats snacks and replaced them with fat free pretzels, Skinny Cow and Eddy's Fruit Bars.  No more potato chips or candy for me.  I only take Alli one or two times a day, depending on what I am eating.  I always take it with my evening meal as it seems that is when I have the most fat intake.  I have 10 more pounds to go and I think I can get there with Alli's help.  I have had a few "treatment effects" from eating meals too high in fat.  I helps remind you and gets you back on track.
