I have read other posts about taking Alli with anti-depressants but I am on a slew of them.

I am currently taking Remeron, Paxil CR, Invega, Desiprimine, Abilify, and (B2 Riboflavin, Magnesium for headaches).  Is it still safe?  These are lots of drugs and serious drugs and I am concerned about side effects but would love the help of ALLI losing weight.  I have been struggling for months to lose weight and I would love this boost.

 There are no known clinically significant interactions between alli and your present medications and supplements.  Specific healthcare concerns should be addresssed with your physician, who knows your medical condition best.

Weight loss, following a balanced diet and exercise program such as the myalliplan does produce health benefits.

 I took Paxil and once I gained 60# on it I was switched to something else.  If you read up on Paxil you will see added weight is very common and in large amounts.

There are no known clinically significant interactions between alli and the medications :remeron, lyrica, pristiq and lortab.

You should continue to take your medications as prescribed, with no change in regimen.

I understand that there are no know side effects with Alli and anti depressants.  Can Alli reduce the effectivness of the medication if I take them together?  I usually take my welbutrin with breakfast.  If I also take Alli with breakfast, can the Alli reduce the absorption of the welbutrin?

Hello. There is no interaction between alli and Wellbutrin. It should not affect the way your body absorbs the Wellbutrin. Best of health!
