    Workout Plan help

I changed my prefrences on my Workout Plan, and now it is not suggesting any strength training.  I double checked to make sure that I checked that I wanted to work out 2-3 days a week at the gym, but still nothing.  Am I doing something wrong?

    Re: Workout Plan help

     Hi

I reviewed your selection.  You selected Strength Training on Mon, Tues, and Wed. at home.  I see in your strength training log that you are able to track exercises.

    Look under these two areas:

    Change activity preferences

    my strength training log

Please let us know if we can further assist.

    Re: Workout Plan help

I am having the exact same problem.  Last night, there were recommendations in my activity plan for strength training exercises this week.  Today I logged on to do the exercises and they have disappeared.

    Re: Workout Plan help

For your account on the my activity plan page for this weeks dates I see activity available.  When I review change activity preferences page you do not have cardio exercises day of the week selected, so this may be leaving those suggested type exercies empty.  Try to fill in the days and save.

Remember you will not see excercises in particular areas if that is not the day of the week you designated to do that excercise.  Try to modify your activity preferences and then view the log areas and see if this helps.

    Re: Workout Plan help

I selected three specific days and there are still no exercise recommendations.  Also, when I try to view the video animations showing how to do the exercises I am not able to access them.

    Re: Workout Plan help

     Hi

I see you have 0-1 times per week selected for strength training.  I am checking with eDiets to confirm that for this option you will still have recommended training in your fitness plan.  Will reply when I know.

    Re: Workout Plan help

    Hello,

This problem is still unresolved.  Is someone looking into this?  There are no strength-training exercises shown in my plan, even though I have selected that I wanted them 3 days per week.  Additionally, when I try to view the animations showing how to do the exercises, I get an error message.

    Re: Workout Plan help

     Hi,

Yes, someone is looking into this.  I asked them for ETA.  I will let you know when I get response.

For the videos, you need to have a video player installed to view these.  If you can give me the error message, I can try to further assist.  I am able to play all the videos without issue.

    We appreciate your patience.

    Re: Workout Plan help

Hi--thanks for getting back to me so quickly.  The error message that I get is "Sorry, no information on that exercise".  My browser Firefox 3.5.3 for Mac.

I was able to access the videos a couple of weeks ago, and my plan also showed exercise recommendations but these disappeared at the same time.  I haven't deleted any video players so I don't think that is the likely issue.

Changing my preferences within the exercise plan tool seems to have no effect.

    Re: Workout Plan help

     Hi

I am able to view all the videos in IE and FF on Windows and MAC.  I think maybe a setting in your browser has disabled flash from playing.  This would prevent videos from displaying.

In Firefox browser, go to tools > add ons > plug ins.   Do you See if Shockwave Flash is enabled or disabled?

Can you play the videos in another browser (Safari)?

Hope this helps resolve.  I will let you know when we hear back on resolution for the other question.

    Hi,

I do have Flash enabled.  I tried Safari, as you suggested and the same problem exists.  Thanks for your help.

     Hmmm...

Is it all the videos or just a certain one that you are getting this message?  Provide exact steps and I will pass on for further investigation by the the company that actually manages this part of the content and see what they suggest.

    Re: Workout Plan help

It is all the animated demos.

Here is the path that I am following:

my alli plan>my activity plan>edit/view plan (under strength column)

There I can see a list of strength exercises (chest, back etc.)  There are no recommendations asto which of these I should do.  Additionally, when I click on the links reading "animated demo" I get the "sorry, there is no information on that exercise" error message.

A couple of weeks ago, there were exercise recommendations and I was able to view the demos.

    Re: Workout Plan help

Make sure you select something in the combo before pressing the Animated Demo link. I only get that message when the selection says "None"

    Hope it helps
