Any Chefs or Pastry Chefs on Alli?

Hi I'm a 32 yr old pastry chef who just started using Alli primarily because i hoped it would curb my sugar habits...there were days that I would only eat sweets because of work!  So far so good, but does anyone have any tips on how to control the sugar cravings and break the cycle of constant grazing and tasting food all day?  So far when I taste I spit out the food because i'm worried about the treatment effects...it just soooo hard quitting sugar and sweets cold turkey...any help or advice would be great!  Thanks!

Not a pastery cheff, but addicted to sweets. I keep oyster crackers with me because carbs break down into sugar. You still need to watch the carb intake because they add up (at least I do, love pasta too). I make up for the extra carb snacking by trying to have meals with the meat and lots of fruits and veggies and skip the bread or noodles (at lease most of the time. You still need an occasional allowance of a sweet otherwise you will drive yourself nuts and drop the diet. I get a heryshey's bar and break up one between 7 days or more.

I am a certified dietary manager and work in a hospital. We make homemade foods, desserts and occasionally have to put on a party with fancy foods. Then i go home and do the same thing. It is so hard to work in the food industry and try to lose weight!! But i think u are on the right track. If you have to taste something, like us cooks usually do, let it set on your tongue and then spit it out. Otherwise i dont know what to tell you. I am in the same boat. Just started my alli. So any adice YOU can give, let me know. Good luck
