For years, years, & years I have been eating low fat or no fat foods. My weight DID NOT go down but maybe a pound. With Alli ...the combination of added fat with calories really is the key. Since I have added the needed fat for my calorie intake I finally saw a difference. For example... I have added a fiber raisin bread (toasted) with peanut butter to my breakfast , along with my cereal, oatmeal or eggbeater, that got me very close to 14 fat grams. For lunch, if I have a sandwich, I skim coat my miracle whip on my fiber bread have ONE slice of real cheese & that gets me close to my fat grams. For supper I look to condiments or quantity to get me as close as I can to my fat gram alotment. Since I have been doing this I have seen a 1 to 2 pound weight loss each week, There has been a week here or there where I did not lose anything....but made up for it the following week. The 1 to 2 pound loss is hard to take because we want to see 10 pounds in one week!!!! I find myself TALKING to myself saying, "OK I am doing it right stay focused stay the course".
Sounds weird I know. I am on the Alli website everyday . It helps me so much!!! It helps that we are all in the same boat &going for the same goal with ups & downs to share. It makes me feel "normal" (although talking to myself ...is questioned..hahaha).
It will happen for you!!! I KNOW it will......
