Hello my fellow alli users! I'm back!

Well, I fell off the band wagon and broke every bone in my body and just didn't get back up. Yep that's right. I laid in the middle of the road just feeling sorry for myself and gained 20 pounds.

I logged back on to the site for the first time and it was very upsetting to see where I was at with my last weigh in and where I am today. Things are better now in my personal life and I'm ready to start again.

I'm officially ENGAGED! Yay!!! And planning an October 2011 wedding. I don't want to be the fat bride. I don't want to be the bride who tries to loose weight in 2 months either.

Before alli the first time I was in a size 1 jeans at Lane Bryant. You know the Right Fit ones. I was well on my way out of that store for good and back to New York and Co (or Lerners. I still call them Lerners) now I am ashamed to say I am in a size 3 at Lane Bryant and I'm disgusted.

I will be starting alli again on Monday Sept. 28th. Wish me luck!!

Re: Hello my fellow alli users! I'm back!

Good for you.  You finally picked yourself back up.  That is the most important thing you reconise that you can do it and are taking steps to meet your goal.  Just think you have 2 years to reach it and the things you can do in 2 years is amazing.  I don't know what your weight is now but I bet it will not take you the whole 2 years.  You now have a goal and sometimes that is what we need.

I've been unhappy about my weight a long time but have just sat on the sidelines and did nothing.  What got me motivated was that we were going on vacation to visit my husbands family and I was tired of always being the fat one of the group.  They never made me feel different but I did feel that way.  I started alli and lost my first 9 pounds before we went.  Did I still feel fat? Yes but I had already lost the 9 pounds and was working on my plan and I felt good about that.  Now the next time that we go I will not be the fat one.  I'll be the one who made huge changes in my habbits that just happen to slim me down.  I'm half way there and if I can do you can too.

Scoot over in that wagon.  I feel ashamed to even post on her because I've also gained most of my weight back.  I started back Tuesday and hope that I get the same motivation I had the first time.  I went from 212 to 175 and now I am back to 195.  I'm not sure how you keep the weight off long term.
