    Flabby Arms

Hi, I have a question.  I have the flabby arm thing going.  I am diligently working to tone my whole body and I am seeing results but how long does it usually take within reason to lose the arm flab.  I did weigh 224 and now weigh 191 so I still have a little ways to go and I know some of it will come off when I lose the fat but is it reasonable for me to wxpect with sork to get rid of all of it.  I am also 41 years old so I am not a young kid anymore but would like to wear tank tops again.  Ilt has been over a decade since I have been able to.

    Re: Flabby Arms

     Hi Becki,

You ask a very popular question.  Losing the weight alone does not always tighten up the area you are talking about.  Losing weight will help, but you need to build new lean muscle mass in the area to tighten it.  You should be engaging in strength training exercises that target your triceps to help achieve the look you desire.  Movements like dips, tricep extentions, kickbacks, etc. will help.  If you're not familiar with these exercises, the alli site does offer video demonstrations on how to perform them.   Give them a shot and let me know how it works for you.

    Good Luck,

    Paul
