I'm retired at the age of 62 but my day goes so quickly that I forget to stop and eat. Working on the yard, weeding our vegetable garden and slowly working on fixing up the house we bought 3 years ago keeps me so busy that before I know it the phone rings and it's my husband saying he's on the way home from work.
When I do remember to eat I stick with the plan, eat my snacks and I see the weight coming off so evenly and even my doctor is pleased to see the difference after just 3 weeks. It's not just the pounds but the inches. For me my weight loss first shows up in my face and that's where everyone has noticed it this time.
I know I can do this because the alli plan is exactly the same plan that one my doctor put me on years ago. I just need to discipline myself and eat my 3 meals with my snacks.
To those out there who feel discouraged....hang in there. It is worth it. Not for others but for your self. To look in the mirror and see that sparkle back in your eyes. To hear friends stop and do a double take because they see the difference in you.
My favorite scripture is "I can do all things in Him (Christ Jesus) who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
This is my task, my challenge, my goal.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
