hey Maureen and Leah,
where do i begin. i have been a yo-yo dieter my whole life...i have always been big throughout my life, around the 200 mark. i am happy married to a wonderful man and we have 3 beautiful children 14, 13, and 4. And i am currently going to college for my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education....i need about 2 more years...it is very hard to go to college and have a family to take care of.
my highest weight was 245 pounds but managed to go down as far as 205...however, i managed to gain back10 pounds in less than 3 months...not sure why...maybe i thought i can eat like before and not gain...then i heard about the alli program and thought i would give it a try...the first week, after the 3 day eating thing before taking the pill, i was fine until i weighed myself and i was up 5 pound...i was very discouraged and wonder what did i do wrong....i stayed with in the 1800 calories and 50ish fat grams given...but i think it is too much...
i don't want to see another gain so i put myself on a calorie intake of 1300 (my lowest) and 1500 (my hightest) with 30ish grams of fat...but i am not sure if that calorie or fat is right for me...i did respond to the post to "betty kovacs's Fat and calories" maybe she can help with how much should i eat....
enough about me....We as a group can do this!!!
take care all and keep posting...we need to motivate each other and stay positve!
