    ALLI and Thanksgiving!

It's only 3 weeks away and I thought I'd ask people who have gone through this already for some tips.

What's good, what's bad?  Obviously the gravy  and pumpkin pie with ice cream is a "no-no" to eat.  ;)    But, I'll be going out of town and staying at someone else's home.  The last thing I want to do is have oily treatment effects happen.  Can we say embarrassing!  But, I also don't want to offend the hostess and say "Sorry, I can't eat that, and that, and that..."

The thing is, I don't want to not take an Alli pill.  I would hate to have one Thanksgiving meal make me backslide a couple pounds when it takes a week to get one off.  I don't think that's fair at all.

So, what do the rest of you think about Alli and the holidays?  You going to skip your pills or take then and just watch what you eat?  What's worked for those of you that have already gone through a big meal holiday while on Alli?

    Re: ALLI and Thanksgiving!

How long have you been following the alliplan?

Thanksgiving, the holidays and special celebrations are the daily challenges we all face. The lifestyle habits adopted in this program give you the foundation and tools to be able to participate and celebrate without undoing all the hard work. It comes to portion control and exercise.

There is no offense in eating food that gives you optimal health.  You can tell the hostess ahead of time that for health reasons you are limiting your fat intake.

In the past many alli users chose to skip the dose during the holidays so as not to worry about going over on the fat.  That being said, the bottom line is to limit caloric intake and to boost up the physical activity fr a couple of days.
