Thanks all for the great comments. As for how I did it, well I try to get in at least 30 min of exercise 3-4 times a week. Nothing really hard core, I love using my wii fit, walking, and I have a dvd I like to work out to at least 1 time a week. I stick to my fat and calorie targets everyday. Drink lots of water. When I get the urge for "comfort foods", I will eat a lean cuisine pizza or make my own. I love those Smart One's Chocolate chip cookie dough sundaes. Only 170 cals and 3 grams of fat. They satisfy the sweet tooth. I also eat a lot of chicken and steamed veggies. Thats about it really. Joanne sure you can add me. I would like that. I have learned a lot since I started this journey, a lot about food and nutrition, but more importantly I learned a lot about myself. This has changed the way I think and act. I wish that this wake-up call had come a long time ago. Even still I am happy that it came period. I still have 28 lbs to go to reach my main goal but I figure if I can lose 100 whats 28 more? Good luck to everyone on your journey. You just have to keep reminding yourself what the real prize is. Better health and longer life. You are worth the time and energy it takes to get the weight off. We all deserve a second chance at a happier healthier life.
