    Carbs

I was reviewing the meal plan provided by the alli plan. The meals seem to have high carb totals. I am a diabetic with Type I diabetes and my meal plan allows for 40-50 carbs per meal. Are there any recommendations to reduce carbs from these menus? The plan offers some great meals so I would really like to follow these menus.

    Re: Carbs

    The alli meal plans are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines -  45 - 65% carbs, 20 - 35% fat, 10 - 35% protein.

You can make alterations to the menu by using the nutrition logs found at myalliplan.  The logs will help you keep track all your food intake so you can stay within your recommendations.  You will love the daily nutrient analysis!  It will provide carbs, protein, fat and many other nutrients with comparisons to your recommendations.

Let us know if we can be of any further help,
