    Re: portion control bowls

Can you elaborate on the portion control bowls?  Did you used them on a pilot study for alli?  I am not sure I understand your question.

Let me know if I can beof any further help,

    Re: portion control bowls

The portion control bowls are part of the alli rewards program.  I just got mine, and absolutely love them (although I wish they were microwave safe).  They are a series of four bowls, one of each of the following sizes: 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1 cup.  Very useful for measuring out portions.  However, they came without any supplementary information, and I think the original poster wants to use them for her meal planning (ie, veggies go in one bowl, meat in another, starch in another, etc...).  Since there was no information that came with them, I'm not sure if that's their intended purpose if they're merely supposed to be an easy way to measure out portions.

SW: Officially 181, had seen up to 185 though. July 2007 CW: 132 GW: Originally it had been 134, set many years ago when I never thought it was a feasible goal. I've hit that and am floundering a bit trying to get to my new goal of 125 which would be a BMI of 22.

    Re: portion control bowls

This is very interesting...I am not aware of this reward program, but I will check with the alli administration team and will get back to both of you.
    Thanks for the explanation!

    Re: portion control bowls

Did anyone ever figure out the proper way to use the portion control cups?  I just got mine, but have no idea what to do with them!  Thank you for whatever help you can provide.

    Re: portion control bowls

I have just received my portion control bowls and am as confused as the others as to how to use them.  This was a reward that was offered.  They look very cool and I think they will be a great help if I can ever figure out how to use them.

    Re: portion control cups (bowls)

I called the service line (1-800-671-2554 (M-F 10am – 6pm ET)), which felt like it took forever for someone to pick up by the way. Beautyredefined, you are along the correct lines. Each color or size is not specified for a specific food group or how much food you should have for a particular meal. I was told, the bowls (cups) are for anything. You can use them for measuring out portions of any food. Allilinda & Unicornhrn , I hope this helped.

I received, I believe, 4 rewards. The bowls (cups) are the last reward I’ve received. Does anyone know if there are more?

I just love the rewards.  I now am expecting my first "through the mail" tangible reward, and I'm looking forward to it!
