I was on Alli diet from August 2007 - November 2007 and had lost 30 lbs. when Alli pills stopped working. So I just quit taking them, little by little I'd forget to take them. Now I've gained back 25 lbs. Will the Alli pills ever work for me again? When I was on the diet, I would check in every week, set up my meal plan for the week on the Alli website, print out my shopping list and off I'd go to the store. I'd follow my meal plan and recipes and I did great. Then all of a sudden

Thanks for your response. I just went to my family doctor and we're working on it. I realize what you have just mentioned above and I was and am really concerned and I am working on continuing to lose this excess weight.

I was taking Alli for 6 months. In the beginning my blood pressure and cholesterol readings went down and so did my weight. Then after more than 6 months my blood pressure went up. My blood pressure had never been so high before. I gained 15 pounds back, but my blood pressure wasn't this high ever! What's Up?

Way to go! I too am following the Alli plan like you. I follow the meal plan, take the pills, and exercise a little (on the treadmill, once or twice a week for 45 minutes at a time). I've lost 18 lbs. in 7 weeks! This plan is wonderful and I too have followed so many diets before this. I still have to lose 40 or more pounds, but I'm very confident that with Alli I can do it!

I feel the same way. I'm doing it and I'm glad I decided to Alli a try. I started officially on Sunday, Aug. 26th, 2007. I've lost 16 lbs. and I can't believe I've done it. It's hard following this way of eating but it's the healthy way to lose weight. I'm back to weighing and measuring, just like on WW, but I guess that's the way to know how much you are consuming in a day. But I do feel just like you do! Keep up the good work. It can be slow, but stick to it

I, too, have spent a few summers at Fort Gordon. My other half was also in the Army back in 1971 - 1973. The summers were hot, humid, and miserable. I remember washing green fatigues and hanging them out to dry, and five minutes later they were dry and stiff as a board. I was amazed. We first lived on the wrong side of the town in smelling distance of the Procter & Gamble factory and couldn't stand the smell. So we moved. He was trained by the Georgia Highway Patrol before he left the Army

I've only watched that show a few times, but now I'm really interested in watching it and exercising on my treadmill and using hand weights while I watch the show. Time will just fly by and I won't even mind that I'm exerting myself! Thanks for the suggestion. I might finally exercise! Darmun

When I read posts like yours, it gives me the extra incentive to hang in there. I just started at in the end of August and have lost 7 lbs. When I was just on Weight Watchers, I had been on and off it so many times that I finally just got tired of doing it. When I see your post, like I said, it gives me the extra willpower . I need to lose 50 more lbs! Touche! I'll hang in there too!
