Thanks for this mention! I just love the ice cream sandwiches. I feel like I'm cheating ha ha I've been using them as one of my snacks or add it in with my dinner count of calories/fat.

I hear ya! I had lost 4lbs prior to THE day and gained back about 2lbs. But, I did better than I thought I would, but not as good as I know I should have. When I brought home the leftovers, I portioned them out in three containers so it was easier to not over indulge. It seemed to work pretty well. I think I may do the same thing for other times when I know the food will be extra fattening. Hang in there!

I definitely do get my protein in or I'd starve! HA HA I sometimes have a veggie burger or tuna or something quick and easy with it.

I'm happy too! I checked my weight last night before bed and was down another. This morning I was down even more! I've checked more than I usually do lately just to make sure I'm not having 'fake' weight loss. You know, you weigh one day and a few days later you're up or the same! HA HA 7lbs in 5 days! Goal: 25lbs by Christmas

Thanks Pat. I skipped my pill at the Thanksgiving luncheon today at work but did good. I had two slices of brisket, a few bites of creamed spinach and mashed potatoes and a dinner roll. And a couple of chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I felt I 'indulged' in what I wanted, but didnt over do it. I've kept my snacks and dinner low today and still came in at my fat target.

There is no way I'll be able to figure the calories and fat since I'm not the one cooking and I know it will NOT be lowfat. Even a few bites of everything poses a risk. If I'm really concerned about TE's and to quite frank enjoy myself, but not overeating, would it be reasonable to take my pill at breakfast and not again until my last meal of the day?

I finally opened my box of Glad Simply Cooking bags and they work great! I steamed veggies for dinner. One of the recipes on the box is for a ham & cheese omelet. I think I may try doing this. It would be great to prep a few bags Sunday night and again Wednesday to help make things quick and easy. With only 2min to cook, I could make it and keep it in the bag until I get to work (short commute) or heat it there.

I've been struggling to get my fat in at lunch and dinner so on top of my baby greens with broccoli slaw, I've been putting a sharp flavored cheese to add fat and flavor. Yesterday I used the Balsamic Spray dressing and blue cheese. It all tasted pretty good together. I dont worry about it too much, because it seems I go over in fat by a few grams during some of my snacks so I figure its balancing out by the end of the day. SD: 11/17/07 1800cal/60g fat Goal: 215lbs by Christmas!
