As I said it has not been easy, but I am soooooooo loving the new me, and the ability to buy clothes from the "regular" section instead of the "womens" section. Elle I hope that you have taken the chance and got on that scale!!! But even if you are not happy with the results, take it as a learning experience and keep on plugging ahead and not as a defeat. You cannot always measure your progress by the scale. Good luck Char sw: 210 cw: 150 gw: 145

AuntyPlanty Congrats on begining this weight loss journey. Yes if you mess up and eat high fat foods, that carpet will soon be gone. But even if and when you do "mess up" don't let it deter you, just get back on that horse and continue with the plan, it really does work. Char sw 210 cw 150 gw 140

Laura How awsom that you have taken this step lose the weight. The te's are not bad (I have actually only suffered 2x's in 5 months) if you keep within your fat target. Remember one of the worst things you can do is deny yourself something and then fixate on it. Good luck and much success Char sw: 210 cw: 150 gw: 140

GabyBaby What an inspiring, incredible upbeat story. I think that it is so wonderful that you have found Alli and been so successful and have had such an amazing experience with it. It is also great that you have learned this at such a young, tender age, and will be able to journey through the rest of your life with the things you have learned about proper eating, and portion control. And having to buy new cloth is the best, right!!! Anyway, congrats on the progress, and keep up the work Char sw

getright Thanks for the suggestions, I have tried the elliptical, but at my gym they are always in use, hard to get one. But the ab workouts sound great, and I have just started a cycling class, although they only have 9 bikes, and if I don't get there at least a half hour early the class is full, Thanks for the great suggestions Char

Sandy Welcom to the boards, and congratulations on taking the first step on your path to a healthier you. Remember your success is totally in your control and you will get out of it what you put into it. Also, if you don't already excersize remember to incorporate that into your life. I have not been able to work out due to an ankle injury for 2 weeks now, and I have not lost a pound, but at least I did not gain any either. So I can say without a doubt that incorporating excersize into yor life
