hi ladies... i am going to report lots of leaf raking and walking....weight has been maintaing between 134-135 ..have not been loogging my food anymore because i have been maintaining without it being any change from my daily routine... i choose carefully what and how much i eat and it seems to be working..yaaayyyy..the only difference for me in maintenance and weight loss for me seems to be i dont take my alli any more and i dont have to work out as much..i still do excercise .. just not as much

no.. but since i have lost 65 lbs my joints ache a whole lot less.. in fact i have been able to discontinue my arthritis meds..yay!! kathy

kathy reporting another hour at the gym tonight..20 mins cardio and some core work (gonna try and flatten up those abs if it kills me).. and then some leg work... after that i went home and worked my arms by raking leaves and pine needles for a half hour.....jane i am glad that the gym lessens your stress.. it helps me too.. sometimes just getting sweaty helps me vent my frustrations.. kathy

well, i guess it comes down to how bad you want it..you are the only one that decides what to eat and how much to get moving..... you dont say how old you are, but it took me until i was 55 to decide that i was done being fat..i want to say that i am in better shape now than when i was 30..my knees dont hurt ,my back feels better and i can keep up with my grandkids..it is worth it..i kind of chuckle when my boyfriend calls me "hot stuff"..who would think that at my age i could look hot

joanne.. i was "stuck" around 160 too.. be patient.. mix it up.. that means do something different..i got in a rut every 10 lbs or so..i mixed up my excercise.. i changed what i was eating.. i think that your body acclimates to whatever you are doing and stays stuck.. try dropping 100 calories a day for a week or working out an extra 10 minutes.. now I always liked to eat too much to give up the 100 cals.. 10 minutes of cardio or weightlifting was easier for me to do.. also i would encourage

ok jane.. you are inspiring me....i got off of work early today..so guess what i did?? i hit the gym...good thing too, cause i have a two hour meeting this afternoon and my sons football game to go to..i would not have made it.. i did 40 mins of cardio.. 15 mins eli[ptical and 25 mins treadmill.. worked on my legs today and my core.. did some crunches and a couple of different machines that worked my abs.. oh yeah , a few pull ups too..its another cold rainy day here..i am NOT looking forward to

yes..you can lose weight on 1800 cals a day.. read lables.. write everything down.. make sure that you get the right amount of fats and cals in each meal....GET MOVING!!!!take a walk.. start with 10 minutes a day and add one minute every few days until you are moving at least 30 mins a day..i am proof that this works..its not fast and it doesnt happen overnight , but yes, it does work...it is NOT a diet..if you go back to eating whatever you were before you will gain it back.. this is a tool to give
