Hi all, Well I finally lost that one stubborn pound. I have hit my goal and now I am working on maintenance. As I don't really want to loose any more weight, I have set a goal for myself in the activity field. I am going to the gym 3-4 times a week plus my home activities (I have two horses to maintain) so I am faily active. One of my co-workers want to run a Team Marathon in September and he asked me if I wanted to be part of the team. I would need to run one of the five legs of the race. It

Hi all, I have not written much lately but I am down to my last pound...for the past three/four weeks. I have lost a total of 32 pounds and have one more to go and can't seem to get rid of it. I have weighed myself at various times during the week and I fluctuate between 126 and 128. This is normal but I can't seem to get to 125. I am not unhappy about this in fact it shows that for the past three weeks I have a good maintenance program going. I am now wearing a size 3-4 instead of a 10-12

Hi all. Well, I am down to my last pound. I now weigh 126 and my goal is 125. It's been two weeks and I know that this last pound will be the tough one. I am thrilled as I have no clothes that fit properly and I had to go shopping yesterday to get new ones. I know wear a size 4! This is great. I have not taken the Alli pill for a few weeks now as I am working towards a regular maintenance plan. I am going to meet up with my brother this coming weekend and I can't wait for him to see me. He

Hi all, I was so busy last week I could not get to my computer to write a post. Well, one more pound gone. I knew these last few pounds were going to be tough. Last week I did not loose anything. My weight stayed exactly the same as the previous week. I didn't want to eat less calories because I am exercising 4 days a week and found that I was very hungry at the 1200 cal. plan. I looked up where I should be on the body mas index in the book and found out that with moderate exercise I should be

Hi all, I missed writting a post last week so I will recap the past two weeks here. I had a great week last week. Lost another two pounds. I really thought that I would be having a ton of trouble with the last ten pounds but this plan seems to be working for me. I guess the fact that I have been exercising regularly really helps. I try and get to the gym four times a week. I always do my 30 minutes of walking/running on the treadmill and twice a week I do the exercise machines. Weekends have the

Hi all, Had my weigh in today and I have lost another pound. I feel very encouraged as I am heading towards my last goal set and I always have a hard time with this. I was a little worried as I was away on a business trip this week and was not sure how I would be able to plan my meals. No worries though...you can find great things on any menu. I was able to get get foods that stayed within my fat and calory plan. It's out there we just have to make the effort to say NO to the items that are not

Hi all, Well another pound has been lost! I had reached my second goal last week and I am now headed toward my last goal of 128. I was (and still am) very worried about not being able to loose those last 10 pounds. I feel better now as I did loose one pound this week. I started a regular exercise program at a gym and I know that I will soon start loosing inches and not pounds so I think I will take measurements this week to keep track of that and not just the pounds. I changed by third goal weight

Congrats! I also weighed in today and hit the 20 pound mark (started January 13th). Like you some days are tough but you have to keep going. It is a challenge and my husband can't believe how strong I can be at times. We went out for diner with friends and he tought I would hit the bread and go to town... Not so... I had looked up the menu on-line before going out and ordered the best thing for me. I had it all worked out. I was so proud of myself! The challenges don't stop but you have to
