Jen, Was the Alli book at Dollar Tree or a different dollar store? We celebrated both my boys' birthdays on Saturday with and ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. Oldest turned 14 yesterday (the 11th) and my baby will be 8 on Friday (16th). Where did you go for BBQ?

Sexyunderneath,, It IS 19grams per meal. I started at 1800 calories per day and 19grams of fat per meal. If you do the math, 30% of 1800 = 540 calories. Divide that by 9 (number of calories in a gram of fat) and you have 60 grams. 2 snacks times 3grams of fat each, leaves you with 57grams of fat. 57 divided between 3 meals = 19grams of fat per meal. I have followed the plan and have lost a total of 41.1lbs.

OMG! Jen, you are going to LOVE Wii Fit. Trust me, take it slowly. You won't feel anything at first, but you will end up feeling muscles you didn't know you had, the next day, if you don't work yourself up SLOWLY. This is from someone who has been going to the gym fairly regularly. My favorites are basic & advanced step, ski jump, rhythm boxing and hula hoop.

Hello Ladies! Happy Holidays. I've given myself a break from the plan, starting on Christmas Eve. I'll be going back on plan beginning January 1st to lose the last 15 lbs. (I'm up to 139- but I'm fine with it - still wearing a size 6, so I know it's only a temp gain.) We got Wii and Wii Fit for Christmas - I think I need to cancel my gym membership! Wii Fit is AWESOME and addictive. I did 2 hours total yesterday. I'm really getting into the balance games. They are really working

Good Monday Morning! I hope everyone has recovered from Thanksgiving and is now back on plan. I've finally busted through my plateau and am down 1.8lbs this morning. I'm also starting to fit into size FOUR slacks. Holy Turkey Gizzards Batman!! I started to pay more attention to where my calories are coming from, other than fats, and changed my protein/carbs ratio and that seemed to do the trick. I think the carb calories are what caused me to plateau. (I was in range for carbs and protein

Just checking to see how everyone is doing! I've hit a plateau, but I'm okay with it. Just as well since Thanksgiving is around the corner. Once Thanksgiving is over, I plan to hit the gym HARD. I've been wishy washy about going, so I'm making a major commitment to get there at least 3 times a week and stay and workout for at least an hour. Besides, I just re-upped for another 6 months.

How about stocking up on some frozen meals? Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones and Healthy Choice meals are really good for staying on plan. Even Marie Callendar meals will fit the bill, depending on the meals you choose. Just keep an eye on the sodium content. I've found some of them are through the roof as far as sodium content is concerned. Also, lunch meats like turkey and roast beef are good in a pinch - again, the sodium content can be on the high side.
