Hi all! Sorry I've been AWOL. I was sick as a dog last week - my son brought it home from camp and it about did my husband and I in - had to go to the doctor, get shots, drugs. I still don't feel totally back to normal. No exercise at all last week (or this week so far) and no Alli! I have a ton to catch up on!

Hi all! Thanks for getting this going, Kendra. I think 5 pounds is very reasonable for me - I can't seem to do much more than that, but it's okay. I'll won't be here much this week. I have all three boys in town this week for the first time all summer and my computer has been taken over! I do my hospital work on a separate computer, and we can't do any fun internet stuff on that one - they block everything! They own the computer, so I guess they can do whatever they want with

Never a dumb question! Yes, being "backed up" can impact the scale. I've typed some doozies in the that show up in the ER with severe constipation. I mean, it's literally backed up all the way through the colon. Pretty nasty stuff, and I'm sure major uncomfortable! I'm with Star on the fiber supplements - Metamucil, Fiber-Con, Benefiber - those are all good. Make sure you drink plenty of water, though, because that fiber has to mix with something liquid to "gel up"

Hi kids! Sorry I was missing yesterday! I had to work and do an on-line continuing education course (I hate those things - totally pointless) and get my husband off to Las Vegas for a business trip (at least that's what he called it). Then, the boys had a friend coming over to watch movies and the house was a wreck....usual stuff. Star, I haven't tried the Weight Watchers ice cream bars - I've picked them up several times and looked at them. I'll try those the next time I go shopping

Hi folks! Sorry to be so late today, but it's Monday, boss is on the warpath, etc. I had a crappy week and weekend - it showed on the scale - I was up 3 pounds! What am I doing to myself? Anyway, I'm craving chocolate like a maniac. I'm going to try to get my act together this week. Can anybody say "SELF SABATOGE"!!!! Enough of that. Ash, I'm glad the iPod survived. Hi Star, enjoy your swim! One pound is great! What's the old saying, slow but steady wins the race? At 1 pound a week, that would be 52 in a year! Good luck on your project. I'm trying to make myself work this afternoon - don't really want to.
