Re: Hi, Im new here and could use some help..

You may not experience treatment effects right away-it might happen 24 hours later or so. It can come on unexpectedly, so be very careful and aware of how much fat you are consuming! That is good that you are keeping track of the fat and calories in your meals. Good job! I find that Alli really keeps me aware of what I eat and how much fat I consume. I don't want the treatment effects. I have enough 'intestinal/bowel' issues as it is and the treatment effects would only add to my dilema

Re: Hi, Im new here and could use some help..

Hi Kellie. From what you wrote it seems as though you should be eating more fat and calories per meal. I am 5'8" and weigh 163 (this is my second week), at the beginning I was 165 and my fat and calories were higher. Make sure you go by the recommended fat and calories per this website, as it is very useful. I also have a hard time fitting in my fat grams and have taken tips from others about adding some butter or peanut butter to whatever I am eating to get my total fat grams per that meal

Re: Anyone jumping BACK on track? Let's form a Group!

Well, my first weigh in since I restarted, I'm down two pounds-so I'm 163 pounds now! 160 doesn't seem too far away and I'm trying to get to that point within two weeks-I think that is reasonable. How is everyone fitting exercise in? I get up at 5 am to get ready to get my son up for school at 6 am and then the baby I sit for gets dropped off at 7 am, I get my daughter up for school at 730 am. So from 5 am until 945 am I am getting myself ready, my kids ready for school, making them

Re: Anyone jumping BACK on track? Let's form a Group!

Hi there! I've restarted the alli plan many times also, do you mind if I join in? I lost 20 pounds last year. The holidays came, and along with it all the yummy tempting foods and treats, and gained back some weight. I'm hoping I will get this 25 pounds off for good this time around and get to my goal weight of 140 by March-not bad, 5 pounds a month and I should get there by then. My weakness is sweets, especially at that time of the month. I'm doing well so far, I started the diet Friday

Question about the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred

Ok, so I did 90 days of P90X classic version and I didn't see the muscle definition I was hoping for, but I did feel a lot stronger, flexible and had more energy. After completing the 90 days, my photos did show a little improvement in the love handle area and hip/waist area, and I can now wear a size 12 (was a 14 when I started). I'm taking a break from P90X and am switching to Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. Now, I know it's best not to train the same muscle groups two days in a row

I've jumped off the wagon, been away for quite a while, but am back on track!

Hi, I have been on alli in the past and started to have great success with it. However, holidays, life, and a lack of commitment caused me to jump off the wagon so to say. On July 1st of 2009, I made a serious commitment to myself to get healthy, and started a new workout program (and proud to say I have done the program every day since July 1st!) It is a program I saw on an infomercial (yeah, I know, most of the infomercials do not work out the way they show them...) and I knew a friend who was

Re: I've jumped off the wagon, been away for quite a while, but am back on track!

Ok, since we can mention brand names, I just wanted to say that I have been doing the P90X program since July 1, 2009 and today I have started to eat the way it is recommended to be on alli. I will start taking alli again on Thursday, July 23 (the day after my 37th birthday!). I really want to make a change for myself and since I have become commited to the P90X program, I will commit also to the alli program-again!

Restarting alli, can anyone offer support and suggestions?

I am starting alli for my second time. The first time I was on it, I lost 20 pounds and felt great, but still needed to lose about 10-20 more after that. Well, holidays came around and need I say more? I gained back a total of 10 pounds. I really need to lose 30 pounds now. I'm going to take it two pounds at a time-hopefully-to get to my goal weight. Who here has restarted alli before? Do you find it easier the first time or the time(s) you restarted it to lose weight? Thanks!

Treadmill owners/users, I could use your feedback plz

I'm looking into getting a treadmill within the next 6 months or so and I have been looking online at them. I had one years ago, a weslo cadence from Walmart-a cheap one. I burnt the motor out of it-lol, and the warranty had already expired. So now I am looking into getting a proform 780 cs treadmill. Here is some info on it: Mach Z™ 2.25 CHP Commercial Drive Motor With more power than an ordinary motor, the commercial-grade Mach Z™ motor uses direct cooling, a self-cooling process

Please give me input on treadmills

I am looking into getting a treadmill in the next 4-6 months or so. I have been looking at them online and know the more expensive ones are better, but I don't have $1000 or more to spend. I was looking at ones on a popular retailer website (not sure I can mention the name, but it is a 'supercenter' store with food and household items) and noticed a few around $400-$500. I will basically be walking, speed walking and maybe jog a little bit on a treadmill. I know I do not want a manual
