While I cannot enlighten you with the actual numbers and scientific evidence concerning Alli, there are many many many posts concerning this. The numbers are everywhere, so maybe a search would help. However, I can tell you that I have lost weight with Alli and it is NOT water weight. I began exercising and losing weight back in January. I lost about 25 lbs on my own. At the beginning, I did lose my "water weight". I then hit a plateau and didn't lose a pound. However, I still kept

I took zoloft for years and quit taking it about a year ago. I have lost a total of 39 pounds and 7 of which are just since June 14th on Alli. It is possible, just stick with it. Good luck

Mine was early as well. There is another post "lost in translation" here in the "world of posts" about it. There are several women who started early as well. The dietician recommended calling the company, but I did not. I knew it was coming eventually so I wasn't concerned. Better early than late!!! Good luck!!!
Come on people.... Lol... I am a stickler for spelling too, but this is a diet board and many folks may not have had the same teaching as some of us.
Well, I have had "the same teaching as some of" you and it does not bother me. I say, get over it. This is a message board for people who want support. They don't need someone telling them that something else about them is wrong. Suck it up!!!

My hands also swell during exercise and walking. Something I've found that helps me personally is I bought a squishy ball from the store and carry it with me. I squeeze it during the session and switch hands often. i get some strange looks, but my hands dont swell anymore. Good luck!!!

It sounds like he's just insecure. He is nervous that you will lose weight, feel gorgeous and find some one new. No, I don't know...lol It really could be it. However, just take his "sabotage" as a challenge. You can do anything if you just set your mind to it. Earn your respect by showing him that you can resist all the temptation in the world for something you truly want. Don't rely on him to spoon feed you all the right foods and compliments. Get them yourself.

Drink a cup of coffee. It's a natural laxative. If you've lost 4 lbs, then you know that it's working, so don't pray for a treatment effect. You may regret it later. Good luck!!!
Doubling the dosage just brings the dose up to the Orlistat recommended dosage, and I don't think that Alli was intended to be used at 120mg (above FDA approved dosage). I'll stick to MYAlliPlan. However, I would like to say that I'm praying for a treatment effect

Seriously, is anyone else annoyed that the moderators continue to let this crap through? It's completely ridiculous. I'm so irritated that it takes 24 hours for my stuff to post, but this gets through in the mean time? What gives moderators?
