That is one of my biggest struggles in not to give into tempation by the family. I don't think it is fair to them to not be able to enjoy the foods they like because I am on a diet. But it is hard for me to stay on track when they are eating an M&M Sonic Blast and I choose a kids cone. I love the Sonic Blast. But I try to remind myself why I started this journey. I want to be healthier and live longer. I want to be able to climb over the rocks to the best fishing spots. Now I have to have

First, it is important to remember that your body needs some healty fats to work correctly. Make sure you are getting enough fat for your body's well being. Losing 30 pounds in 4 months is great. That is just under 10 pounds a month or around 2 pounds a week. That is a healthy weight lost. If you loose the weight to fast, you run a higher chance of gaining it all back. The advice I would give you is this. First make sure your body is getting the fat it needs. Second, don't start Alli with

Sorry for the delay in replying. This is finals week. Thank you for the encouragement. I know I will make it to the end. I found that Alli cost less per month if you get it at Sam's Club. That will help with the cost. Now that it is warming up in Colorado, I can get outside more and break up the routine of the treadmill. Thanks again Shawna

I am a college student but I do not live on campus so I can not help you with working Alli with the cafeteria meal plan. I can tell you that the stress can lead into cravings. The long hours spent working on school work can lead into grabbing a quick meal which means an unhealthy meal. I am a mother and wife, too. So things get very busy. I caved into the cravings and the quick meals. It was not long before I stopped taking the Alli because the meal I was eating would cause TEs. Next thing I know

I thought I could do it on my own. I stopped taking the Alli pills and tried to continue the low fat, low calorie diet. It did not work out. I gained all the weight I had lost back plus one more pound. I realized the Alli was keeping me accountable. So I am starting over with the diet and starting the pills in a couple of days. Shawna

Hello Everyone, I started Alli a few months ago. I stopped taking it a little over a month ago. I figured that I was doing well and could do it on my own. I was not ready for that yet. I have gained back all the weight I had lost plus one more pound. So I am starting back on the Alli and staying with it till the end. Shawna

I am a Freashman in College. However, I am not as young as most college students. I am 36 years old. I can relate to the stresses of being in college. It is real easy to eat unhealthy foods because you are in a hurry or to eat because of stress. I have questioned the logic of trying to diet during the semester. I have a total of 69 pounds to loose and that is not something that can be done over the summer. So I have to diet during the semester. I have found that I feel better and have more energy

Roxie, It is wonderful you have lost 11 pounds so far! I wish I could say the same. I lost 5 pounds then it stopped. I have had so much stress going on, that I have not stayed on my diet. I haven't felt well for the last 2 weeks. I think it is from the stress and not eating right. Now that the stress is gone, I am working on getting back on track this week. I know that I will be able to get back on track. I have pick up my personal journal again. I am hoping I can get back into the habit of writing
