Re: May ALLI Starters

Hey everyone! I think the challenge is a great idea! I am going to work on that. I have been exercising about 3 times a week. But 20 minutes a day is not bad! Let's get moving!

Re: May ALLI Starters

Today was my first weigh in. Although I undercalculated my start weight (or at least my scale says i did, LOL), I did see a 7 lb loss. I am going to take it, even though I know my scale is totally screwed up!

Re: April 2009 Starters!

Had my first official weigh in this morning. I'm down 7 lbs! Yeah! My start weight was actually wrong, but a loss is a loss, right?

Re: May ALLI Starters

Hi and welcome! I just started alli on May 3. I too am very optimistic about the program. If you take it one day at a time, I 'm sure you will be successful.

Re: May ALLI Starters

Hey! I started on May 3. We can help keep each other motivated. I know what you mean about the scale. I have an analog and it never says the same thing twice, so I don't know if I am losing or gaining. I stay within my calorie range, so I hope I am losing. I look forward to helping each other reach our goal. You will probably get there before me ( I want to lose about 60 pounds). Talk to you later.

Re: I need some inspiration...desperately

Hi, I have been in the same boat. I have 3 kids, and gained with all of them. Last year I finally decided to lose the weight. I used a program (not alli) and lost about 50 pounds. Then I joined the real world again and gained it back and then some. I know what you mean about being intimate. I often wonder how could my husband want to be intimate with me when I look like this. He reassures me that I am beautiful, etc. But it something that comes from within me. I have found that if I take it one day

Thanks! That is what I have been telling myself.

Re: 20's to 40's that actually check in

Thanks again. I have been trying to add some extra things in to help increase my calories. Yesterday I guess I made up for the lack of. I just had a really rough day. It is amazing how one cookie can do that. I really think it was from a lack of preparation on my part. But I'm not letting one day spoil anything for me. I plan to be successful. One other obstacle that I have is getting a good scale. I bought an analog that never says the same thing twice. I think I may just get a digital one.
