I have fallen off the wagon motivation wise. My scale is not working - but according to the doctor's scale I've lost 4 more pounds. I am continuing to make wise food choices, but have not exercised! I feel tired and a little overwhelmed by how much I have left to lose. I know that this is worth it. I know that the slower I lose the weight the more likely I am to keep it off. But, I sometimes wish that number would move down a little quicker. I am committed. I am going to restart my exercise

I started with Alli about 6 weeks ago. Here's how it's gone Week 1: down 5; Week 2: down 4; Week 3: up 1; Week 4: down 1; Week 5: down 1; Week 6: nothing. I don't expect to lose huge amounts of weight each week. I was hoping for the 1 to 2 pounds recommended. The first 3 weeks I didn't exercise. I started strength training and cardio in week 4 and have been exercising 4 to 5 days a week for 1.5 hours. Am I being unrealistic to expect that I will lose each week? I am currently following

Hey, Brody... I have the same feeling you did - I'm just not hungry on Alli. Did you have any weeks when you didn't lose? I stayed the same this week and am bummed! I hit my calories and fat and worked out 5 days for 1.5 hours each. I did strength training and cardio! Anyway...how did you deal with the disappointmet? I just want to go have a Big Mac!!!

I really did not want to go to the gym at all today. I would have preferred to curl up and take a nap. But, my loving hubby has agreed to be my support, and he FORCED me to go! When I was done working out, I was SO glad he did! Here's what I did: Cardio: 45 on the arc trainer Strength: legs Hope you are all doing well!

I've had some computer trouble. Here's a quick list of what I've done... Saturday....cardio 45 minutes on elliptical Sunday...35 minute video (The Firm) I didn't do anything today. I am fighting a stomach bug and just couldn't get moving today. I know I didn't hit my food goals either - just couldn't eat! Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!

wanttobeinvienna, It sounds like you made good choices at your event. Eating a snack before is a great idea! I am going to try that one! Ok...today for cardio I did 40 minutes on the arc trainer (I love that machine, even though it kicks my butt!) and for strength training I did exercises for biceps and shoulders. My husband has really jumped on board this exercise thing and is going to the gym and working out with me! It makes it so nice! I can't go to the gym tomorrow. So, I need to come up

Cardio: 40 minutes on the elliptical Strength Training: Legs Funny thing...I thought exercising would make me hungrier, but it's not. I actually am even more aware of making good choices....I don't want to blow all the hard work at the gym by eating junk!
