What about the fat grams per meal and day - does that stay the same or change also?

Thanks for getting back to me. I went to the website - it said for maintenace 2018 and for weight loss 1680 - does this mean I can go with the 1680 instead of the 1800?

Some wise person told me when I was complaining that I only lost 1 pounds also. She said to me: Think of it as a pound of hamburger - and that made me feel soooo much better - instead of saying oh....I only lost a pound = now we can say "hey I lost a pound of hamburger" you will never few hamburger the same again when you go to the grocery store - now you can say - hey I lost that! Hope this helps.

Thank you for getting back to me. I am having a hard time adding in more fat but not going over my calories. So, for instance I have oatmeal for breakfast with fruit or yougert - how do I get my 17 grams of fat in that meal? I am not suppose to make up the fat later in the day due to treatment effects - so, add peanuts to oatmeal? Sometimes I have waffles for breakfast - do I need to add lots of butter to get my fat in? That doesn't seem very healthy? All of your posts seem to make sense - but

Ok, I have read many forums - yes the why you need calories and why you need to eat fat - but does this really make sense that for me, I have to consume about 1800 calaries a day and so much fat per meals per day to loose weight? I am 33 YO and my start weight was 212 and I have only lost 2 pounds in about 3 weeks. I consume about on average 1600 calaries a day and half my recommended amount of fat per day - and after reading these many posts the answer to loosing more weight is to eat more fat?

My question is: If I need 1800 calaries a day, why is it that I intake about 1500 day - I don't lose any weight. Is my body going into starvation just by missing that 300 a day?
