..??..is it just walking..??.. ~ does she do anything else???? TIA!
She does break it up and incorporate other moves- It's not all just straight walking in place. It is all low impact unless you do one of the boosted mile programs which has some light jogging in it.

It may just be that I have been over-training. My TOM is off as well. Last month it came a week early which would have made me over a week late for March. Assuming my typically cycle, I would have started last Thursday or friday-still nothing. I'm going to try to do better about balancing my workouts and being more moderate about them, but sometimes it seems so hard to determine if it's a time I should really listen to my body and take a day off or do something really light, or if It's

So after posting my last post, I gained that 2lbs back, and it stayed on. After over a month and a half of exercising really hard and seeing no results for weightloss or inches lost, feeling drained and being constantly sore, I decided to take the weekend off from exercise (not my diet though). All of the sudden 2lbs disappeared. I took it really light all week and didn't do my regular exercise- I still did a little, but nowhere near what I had been doing. I lost 6lbs last week!? Someone directed
Well it sounds like all the signs are there that you were working your body too hard, and not providing enough calories. So it stopped losing weight as a cry for help. Clearly there's a message here about moderation. Now that you're losing weight again my advice is to stay with the Nutrition and Activity Logs in the alli system. I'm not sure why you want to make the change over to the other program. The answer to your question, however, is that if the

I have been on Alli since, Jan 1 after one week on it I started adding exercise, and continuously have been building the intensity as well as duration and number of hours per week workingout. I had been up to at least 1 hour a day everyday doing cardio. In that I also incorporated yoga, curcuit type workouts and some free weights. While I was feeling stronger all the time, the weightloss has been very slow (my start weight was 271). The last weigh-in I had that I could report any loss was the middle

Thanks Jules, I'll look at that site. I've posted before about not losing despite sticking to my 1800 calories and 19 grams of fat. I too have been working out where I have been burning anywhere between 400-700 calories from exercise alone with 500 being most typical. I was told to check my sodium levels and that I'm just at a plateau, that 1800 calories should be enough to keep me out of starvation mode. I don't even know what to make of it anymore. I want to exercise, but I don't
You know, now that you mention about having problems with your mestrual cycle, I actually started my period on Saturday. I think I was spotting and then it finally started and that is weird because I started two weeks early. Is there somewhere in the forums about this?
It's normal when dieting for ones TOM to become somewhat erratic. I had mine a week early last month, and should have had one already this month, but haven't yet. It has more to

Pizza really gets a bad rapp. It can actually be quite healthy if it's not loaded down with greasy meats and tons of full fat cheese. We still enjoy pizza here 2-4 times a month. We don't typically order out (even before Alli), but do homemade or frozen. I just look for ones that are low in calories and fat for a decent serving size. My husband did something earlier in the week that was kind of cool. He cut the pizza into 12 slices instead of 8. For the pizza, i had already calculated that

You have such a great attitude about this. I absolutly agree we not only need to do this for ourselves, but to be rolemodles for our children. I have a 4 y.o. girl and I don't want her to have to struggle with weight the way I have through my life. So I want to be an example to her of what it means to be healthy. Not just eating right, but also living an active lifestyle, and doing things that nourish a stable, and happy mind. I wish you all the best!
