That's wonderful! We started about the same time and have had similar weight loss. I can't wait to get there! As for now, I'm super excited to get into the 140's. 156 lbs - start weight 148 lbs - current weight 135 lbs - goal weight height 5'6'' Good luck! Keep up the good work. I know we wll get to our goal weights!

I have to take my vitamins with food or I get sick. So at night, I take my vitamins with a Jello pudding cup - 100 calories and 0 grams of fat. I just factor a late night snack into my diet planning for the day.

Thank you for taking the time to post this Betty. I was one of the people who had an incredibly difficult time upping my fat intake. Finally, when my weight loss came to a standstill I upped my fat grams and voila, I've started losing weight again. It boggles my mind that I need to eat fat to lose fat, but then - who's complaining!

My mom bought me fried pies from the local fruit market today. I would LOVE to have one of those, but um.....I don't think I'd be able to eat anything else all day - that would probably about kill my calorie intake for the day. I wouldn't even want to THINK about the fat. Ugh. It was hard telling her I couldn't have them, but I appreciated the thought.

Today is my 4 week weigh in and I've lost 7 pounds!!!!! I am so pleased. If I can just keep this up I'm be fit and trim before I know It! Since I've now met my first mini-goal, the only thing that sucks is I now have to drop my calories and fat gram targets. Bleck! I was just starting to really enjoy the way I ate!!!

I personally would avoid eating the food that would go over my fat grams, or if I *had* to have whatever it was, I would eat a very small portion and take alli with it. At any rate, I would do anything possible to avoid eating over my allotted fat gram intake. I never really realized how many things I *thought* I had to eat, but really didn't. For example, I took my son to see Harry Potter, man I wanted some popcorn, you "have" to have popcorn at the movies right? Unfortunately, I knew

I've had pizza and I wasn't cheating OR making a mistake. I just took care to use portion control. It's listed in the calorie counter book.

I'm more irritable than normal, but I haven't been able to decide if it's because of the alli or the things going on in my life. Don't feel bad about losing 5 pounds - 5 pounds is awesome.

I haven't experienced any potent smell, and I poo just normal, solid poo, but I've lost weight so it must be working. As far as the fat being yellow - the fat we are excreting is not OUR fat, it's the fat from the food, so therefore it wouldn't be yellow. Although, I've read posters stating that they had all the colors of the rainbow. That hasn't really been my experience though. I've been taking alli for 3 1/2 weeks, and I've rarely had any of those orange blobs.

And this is where I have a problem. I have to WORK to get myself to the higher fat level. Most of my meals are only around 7 grams of fat. I have noticed my weight loss has slowed down, I will try a bit harder to add more fat into my diet.
